Bayside is a lovely B&B near Donegal Town, though not within walking distance. A car is a must. Mary and Pete were friendly and helpful, as were all of the people we met during our Ireland adventure. The breakfasts were fresh and hot, and Mary provided homemade preserves for our toast - yum!!! My husband and I took the front...

Bayside was the first of several B&B's we stayed at during our recent trip to Ireland. It stands out as the best! Mary was so welcoming when we arrived. As mentioned in another review, she greeted us with hot tea and the best homemade scones I've ever tasted - still warm from the oven! The house is beautiful, the area...

We stayed here after spending two weeks driving around the entire coast of Ireland. It was a little out of the way and were initially disappointed when we turned down the side road. Boy were we surprised when we arrived! It was perfect, so pastoral with the cows and the sheep in the yard. The wonderful welcome and a fresh...

We went for a nice quiet BNB near donegal that had a good rating but was relatively inexpensive. We did not expect to get the excellent standard provided. From the time we arrived we were very warmly received and taken into a lovely room that had a very tranquil view over the valley and rivulet that flowed through the valley....

My Mom and I were there 2 weeks ago on a tour of the country. This was a wonderful respite. Mary, the proprietress, and her husband "Pete" were most charming. Everything from the welcome afternoon tea to the morning breakfast were wonderful. Home made jams, scones and great touring advice were all done with much thought and care. Thanks Mary...

We arrived late in the afternoon and our Host Jean gave us a much longed for cuppa and cake. So nice. The place was spotlessly clean, fairly quiet despite being near a main road and well located for visiting the Giants causeway and the Hedges. A really great breakfast set us on our way the next day. We were so...

We were met by the host on our arrival, shown our room and then treated to tea and biscuits in the lounge. The room was very comfortable and very clean. All facilities were there both for tea coffee ect and in the shower with ample towels and hot water. Breakfast was plentiful, all freshly cooked with various choices. All cooked...

The wonderful hostess welcomed us heartily. The rooms were superb and we also enjoyed the living room with a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious with some of the best pancakes we've ever had! Like visiting your grandma, as someone else also commented. We wish we could have stayed longer.
