Stayed here with a friend during the Brimfield Flea Market, booked through Expedia. We arrived early, stopping on the way to the flea market to ask if we could check in and get our keys for later in the afternoon. Since we had driven straight from New York, I asked if I could use the bathroom (assuming there was one...

I echo Caitlin's review on Yelp all of what she said we experienced on 5/13-14/16 for our Brimfield visit. Our experience was so bad I took notes so I wouldn't miss a point. Let's start with I booked w/TripAdvisor's booking group online, I thought great I found a cute place near Brimfield even if very expensive ($159 a night) and...

If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. The only positive thing I have to say is that you can book this on Expedia--and here's why: when you realize what you have to deal with as part of staying here, you will at some point want a refund. My friend and I have started an annual tradition of...

The exterior paint is pealing, the fence around the swimming pool is falling down, the office is dark and uninviting and our room hadn't been updated since the 1980 (if not before that!). The wallpaper was faded and peeling in places. The bathroom had a Jacuzzi, but there wasn't much hot water. The TV was circa 1970 with a 19"...

I would love to tell everyone of the great time we had and what a wonderful place this was but that would be impossible. We are getting married and due to time constraints do not have a lot of time for a honeymoon and have to stay local. We thought this looked like a great place to go and the...

I spend 50-100 days a year in a hotels on business so I know what good is and this stay was real bad. First the Sturbridge Country Inn was a bed without breakfast. The home was in complete disrepair inside and outside. The room was awful and stinky (used a full can of Lysol). The fireplace did not work the...

Love staying here. We try to get there every year for a weekend get away. Love how quaint the place is. Not too many thrills but for a quiet get away extra thrills are not needed. Kevin is real nice and full of great info. It truly gives you the old new England experience. Cant wait to return.

This place is great and walking distance to everywhere in Sturbridge. It is a nice large Victorian type building. It has such a historic Sturbridge charm to it. Our room was clean as was the rest of the building. The owners couldn't be more friendly.

The owner's may be nice, but the praise stops there. The place is filthy. Our bed had sheets that didn't cover the mattress, and the bathtub nasty. There was no way to hide from the disgusting bathroom with the shoddy water pressure and inconsistent temperature BECAUSE THERE WAS NO DOOR TO THE BATHROOM. Also, there's no breakfast part of the...

The staff doesnt exist. The main office seems to be locked all of the time. The pool was clean looking, and we had a great view from our room, but we were told " sorry, it's closed, forever".. What? No explanation, no nothing. The pool was a big reason we chose this place. The wifi is terrible. The halls had a damp...
