We only spent a couple night here but it was a nice campground. We backpacked so we would not have to pay to take our car on the ferry but after paying $45 for parking our car in the ferry lot and paying for bike rentals on the island, and bus tickets it would have been better to just take...

Our family spent 5 nights tent camping here. We have two young daughters and they enjoyed our site's proximity right across from the playground and athletic field. There is a camp store which is well stocked with some basics like firewood and cooking accessories. There is only one set of bathrooms and they are a bit tight space-wise, but the...

We stayed in a two-room cabin. It was roomy enough for two families of 3 to share. We enjoyed how clean the restrooms were and the lack of mosquitos around the grounds. The kids traveling with us really enjoyed the playground and arcade. We will be back next time we visit this beautiful island. Thank you for a wonderful experience...

This review is not about the family campground. They are talking about the M.V. Camp Meeting Association in Oak Bluffs, a historic, residential community. It is a "must see" place to visit while you are on the island.

First of all, we met several of the owners (who personally run the campground) and they were the nicest people. We really enjoyed talking to them and being "locals" their recommendations of places to go and places to eat were spot on! Next, I have to say they do an excellent job of keeping their restrooms clean. This is very...

My boyfriend and I camped here over Labor day weekend. We have been to a KOA camp site before that was awful, so we were a little nervous (especially with "family" in the name). But this place was great. The tent sites were nice. Flat, smooth and no rocks. Each tent site had a fire pit and picnic table. Some...

Stayed in a cabin with a family of four and there was plenty of room. Gas grill and 4 beds with a small fridge. We camp in a tent most of the summer so this was a treat. You'll be at the beach all day so its so nice to come back and hang towels on the deck and relax...

The biggest cost was the ferry ride over which was $370, once we arrived at the site it was well worth it. The area was quiet and removed from all the noise, the site was quiet and clean. The area is very shaded with lots of trees and minimum mosquitoes but lots of beetles which was a turn off. What...

My whole family loves this campground. The location is excellent. It is extremely friendly. I've never had a bad site. The playground is great, there are plenty of free showers and hot water. Kids of all ages play together in the field. The owners do enforce some basic rules, which means that everyone is happier. The night watchman, Ron, is...
