The Best Service! The most incredible food we have ever had the pleasure of eating and the Atmosphere is quintessential small town New England dining. From the Oyster Rockafeller app's to the Incredible Prime rib, everything was spot on and we couldn't have asked for a better dining experience! Thank you to the whole team at the Whately Inn for...

We had an incredible experience with the catering expertise of the Kloc family at our event at the Northampton Country Club. Lisa Kloc provided exceptional service and Chip Kloc and his staff delighted us with delicious food. Our guests raved about the food. We would recommend them to everyone. Thank you for making our event extra special.

For our 44th Wedding Anniversary, we had dinner at Whately Inn. It was a very pleasant atmosphere, the staff very friendly, and our meal was outstanding. We had a relaxing evening and enjoyed our celebration.

My friend and I eat there when we can and always enjoyed our meal. It's the kind of New England cooking I was brought up on. It may not appeal to everyone but this inn is not (at least to me) a fine dining establishment so to speak. The rooms are inexpensive and I think you get a pretty good...

We just returned from three nights staying at the Whately Inn. Although we requested and were promised a room at the back we were given one on the front. The rooms are poorly appointed, have no place to hang hand towels or toilet paper, no glasses in the bathroom, taps leak and there are no phones. Our room was connected...

This is my ultimate favorite restaurant, and is bound to become yours too. Consistently great food, friendly service and cozy atmosphere will keep you coming back to this restaurant. We've celebrated many holidays, birthdays and too many date nights to count at the Whately Inn for 25 yrs. And have yet to be disappointed. I'd recommend the filet, or the...

In years past, we were impressed with our meals, or maybe our memory is fuzzy? Tonight, not so much. First hint was the Ritz Crackers served with the liver pate. (Does it cost that much more for a better cracker?) Then, the iceberg lettuce salad served in what could have been a plain cereal bowl. (Iceberg?) Then, for the day's...

This Inn is a good old fashioned country inn in Whately Massachusetts. It is comfortable and unpretentious. The food is good. We had the mushroom fettucini and a few other dishes, all very palatable! Quiet area and good beds. Worth a stay if you are out leaf looking or visiting the Amherst colleges.

We stayed here recently. The inn is really a secondary consideration - most reviews are for the restaurant which we didn't go to. We arrived at dinner time and the hostess in the restaurant was totally dismissive. Not because she was busy seating people, she was, but she clearly didn't care. She said she'd be with us in 5 minutes,...

“Wifi is unreliable. Rooms at the back are quieter with a better view. Reservation and payment was by personal cheque only.”

“No idea. We were in 3A (as I remember), nearest the emergency exit, so only had one room on one side. The best room would be at a different hotel. I checked off quiet because fortunately the person in the next room was very considerate.”
