Interesting place to stay, rooms are small but that is how the Brothers lived. Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Recommend it, come to Beaver Island and stay at this different location. You will enjoy it

Great proprietor, old wooden lodge, felt like a lodge from the 50's. Not fancy but fully adequate. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. It was a retreat for Catholic Christian Brothers for a month of prayer before making their vows. My husband & I stayed at the Brother's Place for a weekend in mid-August in 2011. It was not our first choice, but we ended up staying there because it was Homecoming Weekend and we didn't have any other choice as everything else was booked up. We ended up loving it! Its definitely not for the person looking for a...
