Great place to stay. We came into town from cinci for a concert at Fillmore theater. The hotel was nice and clean. We liked how different it was from the other hotels this not being a chain. The staff was friendly and great location to do some bar hopping. Only complaint I have is the gates for the parking lot...

Very cool, trendy hotel with a built in Detroit vibe. Rooms and showers were very nice. Very clean. Bar could use some better direction but for as new as the bartender was, she definetly knew her stuff.

I can't speak on what this hotel was, but on what it is now. It is a boutique hotel and I feel a lot of these reviews seem to be biased against the "hipster-chic" look. As someone mentioned below, this hotel is definitely reminiscent of some hotels I've stayed in while travelling Europe. Both in size and furnishings The staff...

Had some issues with getting checked in to my room, booked the night of so it wasn't in the system when I arrived. Person at desk wasn't same person I spoke to on the phone, thank goodness I had my confirmation information. Spaces seem to be very clean. Room was very small, but bathroom is pretty spacious. Great heat and...

It's hard to review a work in progress.. For now, a skip... in the future better, but not really good.. Shooting for the hipster vibe, man buns a plenty browse the halls.. Deep into its renovation at the time of review, tons and tons of visible unpleasant wiring, broke elevator, debris.. So, for now id say SKIP..

We stayed one night here. It's a free-standing building on a desolate block, and still under renovation. While the aesthetics I totally get - it looks just like hotels I've visited in Belgium and Denmark - it doesn't make it all that great, or comfortable. The chairs in our room were unusable. I think they were a knockoff of some...

Was great spot to stay for our trip to Detroit for a RedWings game. Seems like it will be nice once finished although some of the renos seem poorly done. Quality seems to be lacking. All and all nice clean affordable spot close to amenities in an up an coming area. Would stay again!

Good location for Corktown and breweries, friendly and helpful front desk staff, comfy bed, clean room, great decor. A few things in the room were already showing a bit of wear...corner of a rug was curled up and I kept tripping, one of the bed lamps sort of came apart. If they add coffee makers to the room OR complimentary...

I stayed here for a night while coming to Detroit on business with meetings downtown. The location was a bit off the beaten path yet worked well for where I needed to be the following morning. This is a renovation in progress, and although the rooms have been updated to a quirky, modern feel, there are some functional issues that...

The best thing about this hotel would be the location to downtown Detroit Joe Lewis Arena and Cobo Hall. Other than that the no frills room was extremely small, the tub didn't drain but so slowly, hence lots of nasty left in the tub so my wife wouldn't shower in it. Also lack of hot water at the bathroom sink....
