If you are visiting Michigan State, this is the place to stay. Be prepared for an interesting visit to the bathrooms in the rooms. This hotel has European style showers where the Shower is actually part of the bathroom itself. The showerhead is attached to the ceiling of the bathroom with a round shower curtain as a surround. It definitely... More

Nice place to stay. A bit overpriced for the obvious reasons. The shower was a bit small in my "double" room, but overall good experience. Very good place to stay for a football or basketball game. Despite the trappings, I would recommend.

If you are a local or just visiting the Lansing area a trip to the State Room, inside the MSU Kellogg Center is worth a visit. The decor is nature inspired but quite elegant. No need to dress up but you can if you like. The food is amazing! We often choose to go for special occasions. The Mother's Day... More

This is the third MSU Homecoming week in a row that I've stayed at Kellogg and it's just as wonderful as ever. It's like coming home to the best family reunion ever. The beds are very comfortable, and yes, there is and I appreciate the hotel's overall concern that every guest have a great stay there. Be forwarded that there... More

I stayed here while attending a conference. On the plus side, the public areas were well maintained, the staff was attentive, the parking garage was free to paying guests, and since the hotel is on the MSU campus, it is conveniently located if the reason you are in town is related to MSU. On the bad side, the room I... More

Yes, this is a great location if you are visiting the MSU campus however the hotel is sooooo outdated, odd, and smells weird. Our room smells like way too much carpet freshener. It makes my nose itch. There is not enough plugs in accessible places, and the shower is THE WORST!!! It is not really even a shower. It is... More

We ate at the State Room in the Kellogg Center. The food was exceptional, the service prompt and pleasant, and the ambiance of the campus and the location can't be beat! We were not there on game day so it was very quiet.

We held our wedding ceremony at Kellogg Hotel, it was supposed to be outside on their East patio but mother nature had different plans, they offer an indoor plan b, the auditorium, which turned out great! Several members of our family, wedding party and guests were able to stay right there, which made it so convenient. We stayed in one... More

While I've never spent the night, I've attended dozens of conferences over the years at the Kellogg Center and I'm never disappointed. I attended a two day conference this week and everything was flawless. Food on both days was good (lunch both days) and the facilities are attractive and well-maintained. Temperature in sessions was always perfect (too bad some of... More
