Nice room with a kitchen, living room, and serving a nice breakfast with wonderful fruit. Really this is the first time I have had a really truly easy time getting from car to room, and a brief walk over to breakfast. Helpful with prices, but it still was costly. Of course it always is harder on a weekend. Everything was lovely except the price. I had never stayed in a residential olace before. But it wasnt what i needed this trip. The little cheap place i was expecting has been torn down and replaced by these huge fancy hotels instead!

Hotel looks dated, was told there was a “towel shortage” for both pool and hotel. In between days the housekeeper left a handwritten note “Can’t give service, there are items in the bed”. For the record, there was a pair of jeans on the bed, so no towels were exchanged, no soap or shampoo given, and 2 full trash cans were left. I inquired at the desk, she said “you can bring your trash here and I’ll give you a new bag”. Seriously? Breakfast ok, room ok, however the chair cover was torn beyond recognition. Sorry to sad but I won’t be back.

We stayed at this hotel in February 2018 and just stayed again and the difference in this hotel from then to now was huge. Very unkept. Furniture was dirty. Carpets were dirty. Beds and bathrooms were clean but I would not sit on the furniture in the rooms. Very disappointed. I only stay at Marriott properties and have NEVER had met with this type of issue. Staff was very nice and the common areas were more satisfactory. This property needs a complete overhaul.

At check-in, I was told that there would be a $10 parking charge. For what? For a guest to park in a parking lot? This isn't NYC, it is the Flint suburbs. Overall, the place is okay. Just okay. The breakfast area has no to go plates or utensils. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. However, the rug outside my door was frayed and the hallway had MANY worn spots in the carpet. The staff at the front desk was welcoming and hospitable. No complaints there. I rated this place as average because it is average as rated to other local places. I expect much more from a Residence Inn. Marriott needs to take notice as this place is in the bottom 10 percent of Residence Inns that I have stayed at (and I have stayed at many, many Residence Inns from California to Maine. .

This is a subpar hotel. Not what i would expect for Marriott, but not unlike other places in Flint. Food - awful. Who puts out brown mushy pineapple? Eww. Not clean, for sure rundown. Staff are very friendly i will say. David in particular. Have to be in flint again soon.....not sure.....as there aren't a lot of choices.

As someone who almost exclusively stays at Residence Inn Marriott, this property is disappointing and the particular room my husband and I had was unacceptable..After returning from Canada on vacation and staying at 2 gorgeous Residence Inn properties in Canada, we just could not believe how unkept this property was inside. My husband and I had arrived after an 11hour driving day from Canada very late in the evening, and the room we were assigned had more than 20 stains on the carpet, stains on the furniture, paint chips on the walls, parts of the air conditioning control missing, lampshades stained etc...We were exhausted and surprised ourselves with even staying overnight. For sure we will be filling out the survey already sent to us. I definitely WOULD NOT recommend this

Myself and 2 sisters needed a place to stay while visiting a very ill family member. I prefer to only stay in a Marriot or Hilton brand hotels as experience has proven they are the most consistent for me. We have been sorely disappointed. The furniture in the room is dirty and worn to the point of holes. The kitchen table had been broken at one time and repaired. The “king” bed was uncomfortable and closer to a double than a king. The floors were sticky and they should have provided bottled water being in Flint. Tissues nor coffee creamer were provided in the room. This has been my worst Marriot stay ever and it has been very disappointing. I do not recommend this hotel unless there are no other options.

We have stayed at this place several other times while visiting family in Michigan and had no problem whatsoever, but this time YIKES to put it mildly! We had reserved a two bedroom suite like we had done in the past. Walked in and immediately smelled old smoke smell. Trying to be forgiving of that like maybe we were picking it up from outside I don’t know but the condition of the room was bad. The chairs at the table were all torn up, arms of the side chair were also ripped. The stove had food inside the burners and every single glass in the cupboard was either stained or sticky. It looked like the room had not been vacuumed or dusted in forever! The smoke detectors were actually hanging from the ceiling! No other room to move to so we were stuck. The last morning we were

Christopher K went way above and beyond what hotel employees do to return a lost necklace to me! Took awhile, but he knew how much it meant to me and he kept on it.Most employees would have said, forget it, not worth the trouble, but he didn't. Which I greatly appreciated. The whole staff was so welcoming to me when I had a day from hell. Made me feel like someone cared after a very long day of no one caring! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Yes it is getting old and needs an update, but it is clean and you get best the service ever! The upgrade will be coming in soon, I'm sure.

This hotel has a great staff. That’s where the positive ends. We were here for 13 days as this is where our insurance company had us stay due to a flood at our home. We had 4 different rooms during this time. Two had issues with heat/air not working (so did a third but we were tired of moving). All 4 rooms were in need of repair. Chairs, sofa’s are torn, stained and needs to be replaced. Small kitchen floor area is coming apart. Pool was out of order, printer and 1 computer in lobby didn’t work. The halls smelled like a combination of pot and cabbage every night. The evening reception was nothing more than hamburger or chicken sandwich with bun and off brand chips and warm cans of soda or water. Breakfast was just ok. If we are ever in need of a hotel in this
