Stayed at The City Flats last night. Great stay. Clean room with a great view. Employees were at the front desk were very friendly and accomadating. Bartender very nice and quick service. Would stay again.

I'm pretty they are (although I advise you to check directly), however, overall I'd say the vibe is definitely more urban/hip than family-oriented. The hotel lobby itself is super small and features a bar and a few cafe-like tables. Although City Flats dubs themselves as a "luxury hotel," our experience rendered that claim dubious.
My daughter and I walked around downtown one morning and went into Amway Grand Plaza Hotel lobby, which was quite impressive (and old school).
