Weekend elk viewing sleigh ride dinner experience. Went mid-January to tak advantage of the snow and the X-C skiing and snowshoeing. Took my wife--romantic weekend. My goodness. Thunder Bay Resort, our hosts Jack and Jan....if your fancy runs to the outdoors you simply cannot miss this opportunity. Accommodations are fine. Not luxury, but up north fine. And spacious! Suite-style with...

Did the Murder Mystery Sleigh ride Elk viewing weekend here. We have done several murder mysterys before but none that were so interactive. If you truely want to try and solve a murder and don't mind doing the investigation (work) involved you will love this! They do an awesome job of thinking like a murderer so there is no easy...

We went for the sleigh ride dinner and elk viewing, and stayed overnight at their lodging. The sleigh ride and elk viewing was enchanting, with light snowfall throughout and great views of some elk (including a couple of bulls with huge racks). You just don't see wildlife like that. So cool! Then, the wood stove dinner in the log cabin...

Our first visit to Thunder Bay Resort was 15 years ago for the sleigh ride, dinner and elk viewing experience with some other couples. We returned this Christmas break to share the experience with our three teenage kids and another family that is close with ours. We had a wonderful time, saw plenty of elk and ate our hearts out...

Do not expect a relaxed weekend during this event, as it is very fast paced and exhausting, but fun! You witness "actors" during a "murder" and have to solve...

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED I was invited to the Thunder Bay Resort's Murder Mystery Weekend by my wife and her friends. It was their third mystery weekend. I was called the "newbie". There is a group of cast members and teams of mystery sleuths (max 10 team membes). The event started on Friday night with the announcement of a cast member's murder....

Our first night we had dinner and drinks at the bar/restaurant attached to the lobby. The staff were so friendly! The food was really good and the prices are very reasonable. The next morning we had our complimentary breakfast there as well. We had the same great food and service. That night we went on the horse & carriage ride....

On Sweetest Day, my girlfriend and I went to Thunder Bay to try out the Elk Viewing and dinner. It was the first time for both of us. The horse drawn carriage, which we rode for the elk viewing, was amazing!! The intimate experience with the animals is something that both of us will never forget. We literally had these...
