They say save the best for last, but the snow conditions were not the best of the week. Staff here boast about the snow base they have, but all the runs were icy. Even so, I had fun skiing on almost every run. There is a great variety of runs here for all levels of skiing and this resort is...

So over all we had a great trip but it was only because of the people. The skiing was good but The chalet was was just weak. First of all I get rustic and this was way beyond. The Maid service won't make your bed if you leave anything on it. This apparently includes a towel hung on the bed...

Sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your lodging accommodations. I have forwarded your concerns to both our Housekeeping Staff and our Maintenance Crew. Thank you for your honest review and we will be working hard to correct these issues.

Been skiing here since high school and now enjoying taking the kids. Super friendly staff make logistics easy from lodging to rentals to lessons. Food selection is the typical totally unhealthy ski menu (unless you like iceberg lettuce!) and no safety bars or foot rests on any lifts, but it's reasonably priced and a decent Midwest skiing experience overall.

Ski Brule is glad that you enjoyed your time and have made this a spot to bring the kiddos! That is what we are all about being family orientated!

I reserved just a room for a few nights because all downtown Iron River accommodations were sold out. The room was spacious, but everything in it was somewhere between a little worn and shoddy. Ski Brule is located in a nice wooded setting, but the view from my room was across a road to a series of big buildings connected...

Brule's hills are good for anyone from beginner to pro. One course was designed by an Olympian and has great jumps. "Timberdoodle" is my favorite run. It is a black diamond that curves through the woods- very technical. The lodging is nice, but outdated. We knew this ahead of time because of the site's photos. The help was very nice,...

Overall we really liked Timber Lodge and had a good experience with the staff from Ski Brule. The BBQ at Homestead was a great deal and fun experience and the ski trip in general was a good value. Very family friendly. Pros - Loved the real log cabin and the view of the ski hill with the soft snow falling...

Ski Brule advertising would have one believe that the facility is the best in the Midwest. Nothing could be farther from the truth. It's a small family run hill whose only goal is to separate you from your money. The owners and managers are rude and unaccomidating. If you are coming to Upper Michigan to ski do not waste your...

I participated in a fundraiser that won me a 2 night stay with shooting clays for 6. Management at first was very nice, then as the deadline for the gift certificate to be used drew closer became less willing to accommodate. I had a party of six including children. The lodging option that I was forced into would not comfortably...

Its a great place to stay because it is right across form the ski hill, We could ski all day eat right at the resort and walk across to the Lodge. The ski hill has a bunch of runs for all different skill levels. The resort has great snow making equipment that ensures the hill opens first and closes last...

This resort seems that it would be amazing in the winter...In the summer, it is reasonable and clean, but very secluded. The resort itself seems to have many ammenities, however not accessible in the summer. We would stay again, just for the fact of a very clean place at a great price. We would have liked to have a little...

“Ski Brule is known as a winter ski resort. If you plan on staying during the summer, make sure you have something planned for the kids to do other than the resort. There are no activities for kids.”

“We can only vouch for Bull Moose lodge, which is a short distance from the base of the mountain. They have a very handy shuttle bus that will take you to the base, and will bring you toilet paper when you run out. ;)”
