I camped a lot as a kid with my family, but for one reason or another just haven't as an adult and decided to change that over the holiday weekend. Called Wild Cherry last week, just days before Labor Day weekend. They were extremely nice on the phone and I lucked out there was still a campsite available so I...

Great RV park. Large sites with lots of grassy spaces between sites. Lower level overlooks big pond. Great walking on paved road around the pond. Very peaceful and quiet. Gravel sites are level; cement patios. If you want to relax in quiet setting, this is the place. Also have two putting greens around the pond for chipping practice and a...

It's location to wineries, the town of Sutton bay, Traverse bay, and the Leelanau peninsula was ideal. Lots to do, and scenery was outstanding. Our first night ,at Wild Cherry, the owners hosted a burger/ dog, and corn on the cob dinner. It gave us a chance to speak with folks who had been in the area a while, and...

I really liked this campground. It was beautiful, very clean, and we felt safe. The concrete patios were just wonderful. Internet was very sporatic. That still needs some improvement. What would take this resort from a three to a five star would be a bath house, with nice showers and toilets. The one port-0-potty in the rustic camping area in...

We stayed here on our first trip to Michigan at the suggestion of a friend whose relatives are from Leland. They gave a great suggestion. The sites are large and level. We paid a little more than usual but well worth it. The host even suggested a mobile RV repair service which was able to fix a leak.

Thought we would try something different for the Fourth of July, so we rented the yurt for a couple days. As you drive into the resort, it looks like a huge football field filled with massive RV's, which is not really my thing. Checking in was easy and when we followed the owner (great guy!) back to the tent and...

For Christmas I gave my husband two nights in a "Yurt" and this past weekend we were "Glamping" it was wonderful, comfortable queen size bed, very cutely decorated, had a futon, a dresser, table and chairs. It also came with a Gas Grill, Fire pit, picnic table and table cloth. The bathroom was a porta potty but I have to...

Totally love the beautiful yurt they have. Clean for bing in the woods. Also I saw some amazing RV's. Big roads and looks like it would be easy for big rigs to drive around and wow big rv sites. Very well designed.

Just returned from our 3rd stay at the Wild Cherry. Very well maintained and beautiful RV park. Its located in the heart of wine country and we come every fall to do the wine trail. Our site was large and had a wonderful view of the gorgeous fall colors. Full hook was nice because they do not have a public...

Our tent site was very nice, and the Porta-john was clean. We didn't have much of a cell signal, and the free wi-fi really didn't reach us. Nice way to disconnect, though! The campground is quiet, even over Labor Day weekend when we were there. We were close to Sutton's Bay, putting us near our event and many restaurants and...
