We stayed in Jimmy's Beach house which is part of Parkview Cottages. Wonderful location and spotless accommodation. One of the nicest places to stay while in Ludington. The only thing lacking was outdoor sitting, the patio area could be improved on.

I really liked the cottage (cottage #1). It was small and everything in one room (except the bathroom) but it was cute. Walking distance to the beach. Good natural light in the room. I do agree that the bed was too hard for my taste. That's my only complaint. Overall a nice place to stay.

We left after 2 nights and got a brand name hotel. We wanted a cottage close to the beach, with a kitchenette, easy parking. This seemed to fit the bill on a short notice reservation and this was the only vacancy to be found. The online/phone reservation agent (not the owner)was friendly and prompt. My rental experience made me ask her point blank if the...

I did let the customer know there had never been complaints on the beds at the cottages. This particular bed is a platform bed and is firm which I should have explained, my apologies.

The only con: size, but you know it's going to be small when you book. Pros: So many things provided from dishes and cookware and paper products to trash bags, but everything was really high quality, really cute or both. The owners use every inch of space in such a smart way - modern fridge, narrow. Wine glasses - on...

Have vacationed in and around Ludington over the past 35 years. From camping to hotel, you name it. This time we wanted closeness to the lake, the convenience to walk more, privacy, eat healthier, and the freedom to come and go without jumping a lot of hoops. So this vacation at Parkview Cottages in particular vacation was exceptional. We had...

We have experienced a lot of cottages over the years. This was by far our best experience. Not only from a responsive management perspective (Jill was great) but the comfort of the cottage itself was awesome. Very clean! Which can be very hard to find in cottage experiences. Our unit was even a "pet friendly" unit. You would never know...

This was the perfect place to relax and getaway from my stressful life as a hospice nurse. I arrived by myself because my husband couldn't join me until later in the week. Jill left the porch light on for me and it was like coming home. The cottage was inviting from the first time I walked through the door. It...

My family and I have stayed at one of the Parkview Cottages on three separate occasions. On one trip, a motorcycle excursion around Lake MI, we found our unit to be cozy but not cramped. Furnished with nautical themed decorations, the cottages are charming and though not roomy, comfortable as a place to lay your tired head after a day...

We go to Ludington every summer during the Gus Macker tournament. We were very excited to finally get a cottage over a hotel. The location was great -- but i would say that was the only pro of the weekend. When we arrived, the rental was not ready, and seemed like it had been closed up all year (smelled musty,...

Gus Macker weekend (basketball tournament) is one of our busiest weekends of the summer and requires a damage deposit which is refundable if the buildings and grounds do not require repair or any unusual attention. Unfortunately when the cleaning staff arrived the property in question had just been vacated and obviously required cleanup of the grounds. It is rare that...

“Dont stay in cottage #1 -very cramped,no water pressure in the shower, the bed was a platform style with no boxspring and was hard as a brick and the sofa is to short to sleep on if you want to escape the torture of the mattress. The larger units might be better.”
