This lodge is perched at the top of a steep cliff overlooking the canyon below. It really feels like you are in the middle of nowhere when you arrive so when we first saw the infinity pool and learned there was wifi we were surprised to say the least. The also have spectacular views and are beautifully decorated and very...

Thank you for the 5-star review. We are very happy that the remote location and long drive added to a great adventure and that Fish River Lodge made it worth the trip.

Well worth the bumpy road to get there. Clean, comfortable, efficient friendly staff, spectacular views, great walks, good food. One negative was the smell from some of the septic tanks. Otherwise fantastic .

Hi, thank you for the 5-star review. We will definitely look into the septic tank situation and try and resolve it ASAP.

Great experiance, the access road is a minor challenge if you drive a vehicle with enough clearance. 4x4 might be needed if there was rain, but this normally never happens. The place and the view are absolutly great. It would like to come back any time if i get the Chance.

Stunning location but difficult to get to, We asked several people how to get there as the road it is on does not feature any maps, only one person at a padstal could help! The food was delicious with the limited stock available however the portions are quite small. Sunloungers by the rooms would be nice to relax on. A...

The place to stay at Fish River Canyon. The view is awesome, the lodge is beautiful, the silence is deep and peaceful and all the staff is concern to provide the best service. Don't miss the sundowner program!

we had a short and very nice over night stay in the logde and would like to stay longer but unfortunately booked out. The canyon view is outstanding and we did also a very nice walk to a view point with a clip springer spotting.

Where the trail through the desert ends, there is a crack in the world where you can look inside the earth. Don't miss the opportunity. It is one of the three must-sees iwhen you are in Namibia. And Fish River Lodge is the place to spend 2-3 days and admire who life itself creeps from the most impossible spots and...

Perfect place to unwind, charge your body and get back to nature. Beautiful well equipped rooms. With breathtaking views and lots of privacy. Excellent cuisine. Friendly happy staff. Pool deck is great to lounge around and take in a bit of sun. Marco and team looked after us - thank you for a memorable stay.

As the t-shirts state, this is on the edge of eternity as you gaze over the beautfil view that is visible from the lodge and from each chalet. The chalets are perched right on the lip of the canyon so the views are stunning and ever changing as the sun rises and sets. The service was great. We were warmly...

Smart Lodge built on its own land with plenty of concrete, which compared to more temporary and predominantly wooden lodges built on concession land comes as a bit of a shock. Our two night stay was good, with a trip down into the canyon to the river, with plenty of engagement of the 4WD and 45 degree angles. Particularly liked...
