We arrived there with no expectations and we were positively surprised when we discovered this cozy and small hostel, managed by a young nicaraguan girl Maria. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We were so lucky that the staff were celebrating their 3rd anniversary!! The guest were invited to have dinner and have a drink with them, proving the hospitality and...

This hostel is wonderful! I stayed here for three weeks and painted some murals for them. It is a clean friendly hostel, cheap too. The bed linen and towels smell so fresh and they don't charge for a towel. They also don't charge for lockers which is great! Whenever I go back to Leon I will stay here. It's very...

We didn't plan on staying here but had a great stay. Clean spacious rooms. Good kitchen. Quiet at night but possible to interact with other guests. We came back to Leon (after leaving Leon for Matagalpa) waiting for the shuttle to Guatemala. We were welcome to leave our bags and wait in the evening, although we checked out a couple...

The staff is very friendly and helpful here! It is located a short walk from the center of town where you can find many restaurants, comedies, a grocery store, and entertainment. The bathrooms and kitchen are always clean. I would recommend staying at this hostel! It is a chill vibe where you can come to relax.

Hostal Sin Fronteras is a very nice place. There is a large open kitchen, a big cozy courtyard, laundry area, included breakfast (gallopinto con huevos or pancakes). Not overcrowded, top location. In contrast to many others, this hostel is run by nice people from the local population, and this authenticity can also be felt. The whole day you can enjoy...

I don't recommend this place. I made a reservation on booking.com which was confirmed within an hour. When we arrived the lady at the reception desk first told us that she didn't work with booking.com. Then she changed her story, telling us that she did, but that she didn't confirm our reservation. When I showed her the confirmation and asked her...

Extraordinary value. As an older couple, we try to save money by looking for clean double rooms at a very reasonable price. We backpacked in Asia in the 80's, so we can still "rough it" in hostels, pensions, and cheap hotels as long as they are clean and quiet. Sin Fronteras cost us $20 a night, including breakfast, for a...

Stayed here over new years, and really enjoyed it! They have comfortable if slightly hot dorms, and a small but well equipped kitchen. The staff is really nice, and go out of their way to help you, even stupid Gringas like me who don't speak spanish, we communicated mostly through gestures, google translate and smiles! Would definitively stay here again...

A nice comfortable clean hostel with breakfast included. A great staff to make your stay comfortable, this hostel is in a great location in a beautiful city. Contrary to American media Leon is safe to visit and full of friendly people.

We stayed here for 6 nights over new year, the dorm beds are comfortable, they have a complementary breakfast, water refills for a small fee, free internet and accommodating staff who are all really nice and helpful. The kitchen is small, but practical, and if there is no more room in the fridge for your food they let you use...
