Chateau Julie is an amazing hotel, a real chateau with old world charm and modern luxuries. The room was huge and bathroom functional. We had a lovely walk around the grounds and vineyard and then sat on the terrace sipping the wines of the chateau, just amazing. This was followed by a banquet of fresh and local produce which catered...

A stop on way to Spain. A few minutes off of motorway in quite village. Ideal for an overnight rest. This time officially a hotel and restaurant when last visited more of a b&b. But what an improvement. Rooms freshly decorated, bathrooms modernised. Very comfortable large and relaxing. The Dutch couple who run this imposing pilgrim's lodging house have got...

We stayed here for one night on our journey down to Spain. Rinse and Renee are extremely helpful and welcoming. We had a really good reasonably priced dinner, in the chateau. The eponymous chateau bottled wine is served with dinner at 2 euros a glass. We stayed in part of the gite, which is still being developed, but provided us...

We loved our stay here. Comfortable family room, play items for kids outside, the nicest staff who helped us make reservations for a wine tasting and provided lots of great recommendations for local activities for kids, delicious meals, good wine, great value. We hope to return someday.

Very clean and fresh everything updated and made like new, fine linens and best quality towels, dining room napkins, bed sheets? huge rooms and totally new bathrooms. Dinner was good and the price was super economical, as was the overnight room price. Plenty to read in the library, and open honor bar to help oneself. Small Chateau with its own...

We stayed overnight while motoring from Paris to Marbella. Having enjoyed our stay in 2011, we decided that staying at Chateau Julie was much preferable to staying in a Hotel near the Motorway. We enjoyed a warm welcome; good meals and wine; interesting conversation with other guests and a spacious and comfortable room. A great choice!

There's so much to like about Chateau Julie. After a long day of cycling, there's a fantastic sense of arrival as you sight the house and come down the driveway. The rooms are enormous, and the Dutch hosts just as generous. We ate in-house and the dinner was very very good indeed. As was breakfast the following morning. There are...

Huge bedrooms, large bathrooms and very helpful owners. This is our second visit having used it a couple of years ago. This time we made sure we arrived earlier so we could enjoy this beautiful place. We were given wonderful advice on a lovely place to eat as a family (although would have eaten at Chateau Julie if the children...

This place is a Gem, the rooms are large with large well appointed bathrooms, the owners could not be more helpful. The place is set in it's own grounds with really nice views. The place is very informal and there is an honesty bar and free tea/coffee making facilities in the lounge. We would stay again for sure.
