A traditional French hotel, with a very warm welcome. We had a very nice room, bit on the small side, but beautiful bathroom and a really wonderful terrace overlooking the Loire, the perfect place to relax after a long drive with a bottle of chilled Pouilly Fume. The restaurant is lovely, with delicious food and superb front of house staff....

Hotel was in a great location, overlooking the River Loire. We had a good room with a large outside terrace on the first floor, overlooking the main ground floor terrace and the river. Our dinner was excellent, although a bit on the expensive side. Very attentive service from the waiter. Altogether very good stay.

Not the cheapest, but a dining experience, with immaculate presentation of high quality food. Watching the sun go down over the river from the sheltered external dining patio on a summer's evening is an experience not to be missed - and mosquitoes are not too much of a problem as the restaurant is set back from the river on high...

On the banks of the Loire and in the heart of superb wine country a very good, accessible place to stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable with decent mattresses and views over the river from a private terrace. The restaurant served delicious, well presented food with a wine list to match. The decor is an eclectic mix of 1980s...

An unprepossessing hotel with fine dining. This small hotel sits on the bank of the Loire, with a wonderful terrace outside for dining. Run by a husband and wife team the husband is a master chef, his food is beautifully presented and tastes amazing. The rooms at the back have large balconies with long views over the Loire. Easy walk...

We Stayed here for 2 nights recently, We didn't eat in the restaurant( we have a disabled son who can be quite awkward at times), so I can't comment on the food. However the customer service, friendliness , welcoming feeling is definitely non existent .We didn't have the petit déjeuner as we normally only have coffee. The first morning it...

An overnight stop travelling South to North. Rather off-hand reception (not a good start)! Excellent dinner (albeit over-priced) spoilt by totally indifferent service (Full restaurant, and Maitre d' plus a lad) (the disappointment continues). A very nice room overlooking La Loire. Very mean breakfast for the price (the final strike !). This hotel has a great location, and you pay...

The hotel has two faces. From the front of the hotel, it looks dowdy, and unwelcoming, the reception areas are tired, and the first impression not good. But once you're in the hotel, well, it is a different story. Our room was comfortable with a terrace overlooking the Loire, and a great bathroom with a good easy to use shower....

I spent one night there for a wedding. The room was good (newly refurbished), clean and the space sufficient. The view on the Loire was stunning. At the opposite, I found the owners unfriendly. I had the feelings to disturb them when I checked in and checked out. At that time, they were not in a rush....no client on sight.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, a large clean room with all the necessary amenities and the most fantastic food, both for dinner and breakfast. OK so very little English is spoken by most of the staff, but schoolboy French helped us and if needed the owner/chef spoke fluently. We were in France ! Do our small rural hotels have staff...
