We had such an incredible week! We stayed with our family of 5 and our family friends in the FarmHouse. It was brilliant. As a parent (and especially as a mum!) it was so wonderful to have every thought considered 'what to feed for dinner' - it's been prepared and in the fridge. 'Ah we are running out of nappies' - that's okay they have plenty in the 'shop'. 'Kids are bored' - kids club will start a game of soccer with the boys. 'Where should we visit for a quick trip?' - Laure will gives you multiple options near by (no need to research anything yourself!!) Kids have endless entertainment, and the childcare workers try their best to enagage the kids the whole time. We felt for the first time in a long time that we finally had time to just rest without thinking 4 steps ahead! The food is delicious, the wine collection and drinks were amazing. Emma made delicious G&Ts every afternoon for us, and the lovely Maurice ensured the wine glasses were never empty! The housekeeping team tidied our farmhouse every day, which was such a treat! Country Kids is an extremely special place. Laure and Sylvain have created the perfect environment for all members of the family to relax and connect with one another. Every small detail has been thought of, from the food in your own fridge when you arrive so you can relax after your journey to the refreshing ice pops to hydrate the kids after their morning trip to the farm. All staff are exceptional, offering expertise in their area and a personalised, friendly service. Our 4 year old son had a wonderful time and loved the kids club, whose staff are caring and centered around each individual. He felt comfortable in the environment instantly, rushing to the tractor and the tree house each day. My husband and I had time to relax together - to talk, read and enjoy the wonderful food, knowing that our son was having a great time with other children and being cared for by excellent staff. Laure and Sylvain have created a truly beautiful and unique experience for families with young kids. It is still the only vacation I have been on where I had ample time for myself to relax and not worry about any details. The staff is very friendly and they work hard to make sure everyone is happy and comfortable. Emma in particular was so sweet and wonderful. The swim and yoga instructors are fun and make the experience even better. We have been at Country Kids twice now. And I recommend it to all of my friends.

Our stay at Country Kids was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived (which happened to be a rainy evening), we were greeted warmly. A delicious meal of lasagna and salad was awaiting us in our unit. Our children were so excited to play with the toys in our unit and to cuddle with the stuffed animals in their room. Every detail is carefully thought out from the delicious meals to the local wines available in the wine cellar. Our unit everything we could need for our children. Plastic dishes and cutlery as well as tear free shampoo and soap, bath toys and even small bath robes were provided. Our kids (3 & 7) loved Beatriz at the kids club. She planned fun activites to keep them busy and they looked forward to them daily. Going to see the animals each day with Farmer Syl on his tractor was a favourite activity as well. While they were at kids club my husband and I were able to actually relax by the pool, play tennis and have an actual vacation. The beautiful scenery and delicious restaurants nearby were an added bonus on our two date nights when babysitting was provided on site. We absolutely can not wait to plan our next trip back! …

Another week of perfection! Fourth time visiting and it still amazes me how much fun the children have and how much pleasure the parents get. Plenty of activities for adults and children at a pace you choose. Amazing kids club and attention to detail throughout the stay, nothing is too much effort. 5 star stay from the minute you walk through the door until the minute you leave. One day I’ll win the boule tournament!

This place gets everything right. From the delicious welcome dinner to the GF bread available in the shop, there is nothing Laure and Syl and their team haven't thought of. Feel like a lunch outing? Multiple laminated direction cards at your service. Want some wine? Laure phones a good tasting room to check hours. Need a hike? Syl recommends a place his daughters like. Staying over Easter? The children get a special chocolate egg hunt. My 5yo twins and 3yo were excited to run off to the tractor and then kids club every morning, and my husband and I had ample time to explore the area and enjoy ourselves. Beautiful place, lots to do, delicious food, wonderful people, and happy kids. Booking next year's return was an easy decision.

This has honestly been the best family holiday we’ve been on. It’s one of very few places where the kids have a wonderful time and the parents get to have a rest as well. Syl and Laure, the owners, have thought about everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. The setting is beautiful and serene. The kids don’t have a chance to get bored between feeding animals, riding bikes, watching tortoises, playing in an amazing playground - treehouses, zip wires, mini golf, trampolines, slides, mud kitchen - you name it, it’s there. The space is very well thought out and very well secured and child proofed so you can let the kids go and play without a worry. The kids club is great - the staff are experienced, caring and engaging. The formula of booking Saturday to Saturday works very well as there’s a weekly program of well thought-out activities and with a number of other families on site, there’s a chance to get to know each other. It gives a cosy, family feel and the kids can make friends. There are lots of things to do in the area - pony riding, the beach, a dinosaur museum, restaurants and hiking trails. There’s very helpful information available from staff. The service is absolutely amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. Usually Emma, the manager, and Laure knew what we needed before we did! We are coming back next year. My kids keep asking to go to Farmer Syl’s farm and say they wish they could live there forever. We kind of wish we could too!…

We have just returned from a one week stay with our two children (3.5 and 1.5 yrs old). As the other reviews make clear this is a wonderful and unique family experience, strong recommendation for those looking for a holiday that is both family oriented and relaxing. Couple of points: The food is French cuisine and very good. They have chefs on site and they meals are varied and delicious The staff are simply fantastic. Special shout out to Emma the manager but all are courteous and patient. It also feels like there is a 1:1 staff to adult guest ratio The owners are on top of their business. Minor point but we are Jewish and have kosher preferences. The staff all knew and we never had to repeat this. They do a TON of childcare even for toddlers/babies. The onsite crèche is excellent with a strong manager and caring staff. Our older boy in particular was excited every day to get going to Kids Club Accommodation is charming rather than luxury hotel standards. Our apartment was spacious and cleaned every day The site it's on is very charming with plenty of shade and different things to do (tree house, swings, sandpit, tortoises etc etc). There's no Country Kids without Sylvain & Laure and their hand-picked team and so it would be too impersonal to refer to this wonderful place as a "hotel". Even before we arrived, they were attentive and helpful over email. Once we pulled up to the secluded property on Saturday, Sylvain immediately greeted us at the door with the kind of warm enthusiasm that makes any child (and any parent) happy to arrive. We literally had everything ready for us (food, bed, toys, towels for the heated pool!) and our daughter was enchanted by the setting. During our stay, there was nothing that was too much to ask for, and no detail that was missed. Although you can self-cater, we opted to let ourselves be spoiled by cooked meals every day - and it truly was a culinary delight for us foodies. Laure made sure our time was well spent including on our evenings out, with reassurance that our daughter was well looked-after by Laure and the babysitter. We really look forward to coming back!…

This year was our 6th year at Country Kids! Owners Laure and Sylvain (along with the rest of the staff) have created a winning formula which means that both parents and kids are guaranteed a wonderful holiday. The site very secure and just the right size to allow slightly older kids to roam 'free' and safely if they want to, something that is rare for children to be able to these days. The kids club keeps them entertained for a few hours a day to allow parents to fully relax. In terms of activities, there is something for everyone, from fishing to golf, yoga, tennis, cycling, bike rides, spa treatments etc. My personal favourite are the petanque (boules) nights! I honestly think that some of our happiest memories as a family have been at Country Kids, its a truly magical place.…
