We stayed three nights at Le Manoir de Mathan. Our room as not large,k but it was well laid out and provided everything we needed. The buffet breakfasts were quite good. Dinners were just down the street at the Ferme de la Ranconniere (run by the same owner). Strongly recommended.

The hotel is very beautiful inside and out. The rooms are very spacious and completely renovated. The room is furnished with many antiques that make the room very warm and inviting. The hotel has been considered the best we have stayed in with our travels in the countryside of France.

While traveling on a tour to provincial France we had the luck to stay in this beautiful farm manor. Gorgeous setting, beautifully decorated rooms and oh so quiet. It also has a fantastic restaurant with a superb chef. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

We had to large rooms that had a separate entrance at Le Manoir de Mathan. It is a bit of a distance from the sister hotel where you check in but it was not a problem. It was so peaceful and quiet at Le Manoir de Mathan. The breakfast was delicious too. The fresh yogurt, fruit and pastries were delicious...

We booked because it was easy for the Caen ferry, in the countryside and offered dining at the sister hotel. Arrival is a bit strange- there is no clear reception area and you are left to ponder for a while until an old lady appeared who spoke to us- disappeared then re-appeared to tell us someone would come from the...

We stayed at the property for 5 nights using it as our base to visit the Normandy beaches and coast. The room was all you could imagine with the bed being very comfortable, to the rest of the room amenities being very good. The included breakfast was all that you would require with fruit, cheese, bread and coffee. If and...

This place is part of two location hotel. The other which is more equipped one (reception wise) is Ferme de la Raconniere. Thus if u need help u need to drive to the other place to speak to the management. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful place, tranquil, 15 - 20 min from Bayeux thus feasible for early D Day guided...

Had a great stay in this small, totally lovely, centrally located hotel in the tiny village of Crepon, just a short ride to all of the Normandy sites. Breakfast and very good dinners at the sister hotel, Ferme de la Raconniere, included. Our room was spacious, with two bathrooms. Kudos to the staff.

We had originally intended to stay at the nearby [and co-owned] Ferme de la Ranconniere but made our reservations here instead. Our room and bath were both large and comfortable, and the location was good for us, since we wanted to visit Bayeux and the D-Day beaches. We only ate the Ferme de la Ranconniere restaurant once, but it was...

It was all good for a ok hotel. Loved the view from the room looking out to the Castle but on Saturday evening we had the window open as the AC was too cold and it was noisy as there were young men accross at the train station enjoying something and each others company. Not sure if this happens every...
