After a tiring morning, we booked in for lunch. We were shown into a very dated, dark restaurant, We chose the bistro lunch menu and the wine. The starter arrived, which was good. No conversation from the staff. The main course arrived which looked dull to say the least. Brown meat, brown mashed potatoes. Still no comment from the staff.... More

We've just retuned from le Cochin d'Or after a superb meal. We first visited some 40 years ago but haven't been there for at least 20 years. The food used to be excellent and I'm glad to say that it was excellent tonight. We had the 32€ meal which consisted of four courses plus amuse buche and sorbet. My husband... More

We had dinner there on a Wednesday evening with our two young children. They only have one high chair that was already busy so our 2 year old had to sit on a chair with cushions so it was difficult to contain him and enjoy our lovely food throughout the evening... Anyway, I had oysters as a starter, followed by... More

This was the second time we've stayed here - coming back shows we'd liked it before. This time the food and service were just as good as we remembered, which is why we've given it an "average" rating. Unfortunately, it seemed our bathroom (we even got the same room twice) looked as if it hadn't been cleaned since we used... More

Excellent restaurant with terrific food and delightful maitre'd! I had the foie gras, boeuf and from ages with Sancerre wine. Framboises with almond creme for dessert with some Calvados to finish, Great ambience and decor. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay in this small auberge. Great location in the centre of the small town of Beuzeville. Our room was comfortable with good king size bed, nice sheets and tiny but functional shower room. Free wifi was a benefit and also the popular restaurant with a lovely quiet terrace at the back. What made our stay really... More

Our room and bathroom were a small but comfortable. Free wifi is available in the room. Everything is clean and the dinner was really good (a bit expensive). The staff is very nice. So we would come back again.
