Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It was a lovely stay with very clean rooms. The hotel has great potential as it is spaceous, very well situated and has a beautiful scenery. The young hotel manager and his wife were really helpful as they gave us indications on where to go and what to visit. The staff was kind overall and the service was exceptional. Nevertheless, one of the staff members, who seemed to be the head waiter, seemed really drunk and yelled impatiently and made rude faces at the clients who hadn’t finished their food. Overall, I would recommend staying there if you are visting the region as it is well worth it for the price and what it offers.

Lovely stay and wonderful location. The hotel was nice and clean, and the beds were very confortable. In general the staff were very kind and friendly, except the head waiter, who seemed drunk and was extremely rude.

Liked - 1. Building is pretty. Disliked · This hotel could be so much more, examples ... 1. A beautiful courtyard where umbrellas were never raised in the blazing sun, and where waiters or menus were never seen. what a waste! 2. Food was underwhelming, especially breakfast. 3. No tea or coffee facilities in the room, but a horrible dispenser downstairs. Coffee undrinkable 4. No mini fridge in the room, but a small chest freezer downstairs??? 5. Swimming pool is NOT heated, unless you consider the sun on it 6. The swimming pool is used by the local population drifting in, and we even had a morning where it was full of classes of local ladies doing exercises. Hilarious! 7. Situated in an area that does not really cater for other eating ideas. The couple of restaurants in the village not enticing. Not much in the village to be honest

I rarely complain but whereas the hotels itself, its surroundings and what it has on offer are amazing, the service is more than disappointing. The check in took 15 mins and the personnel was not welcoming, arrogant and borderline rude (I speak fluent French). As I was on bike tour of the area I needed to store my bike overnight in the garage - explanation where to store is minimal - 'go in this direction and figure it out/find it yourself' approach, getting/returning a key to the garage makes you feel like a thief who will steal/keep the key without returning it and there is no way to charge your electric bike if you need to do so. Hotel, its grounds - restaurant, pool, small walking/hiking trails and room itself are amazing but poor service strips the great experience. Check out and leaving hotel took over 30 mins - the key to the garage was at the reception who sent me to the garage twice claiming it's open. Yet again it felt like I bother them by being their guest. Definitely will not return and not worth nearly 140 euros I paid per night in August.

We found this hotel just a little bit odd. We stayed in peak season and really it felt overpriced. Something to be aware of- the receptionists didn’t speak any English (we know we are in France and we really did try our French, but there was no meeting halfway!). The rooms felt tired and well due a revamp if this is what they are charging. We also found long hairs all over our room and bathroom. The service in the bar at night felt confused, and the atmosphere just wasn’t our thing. BUT the pool is very nice and the location is good, with lots of parking. We were glad to stay only one night, but for just that it was fine.

Central location for visiting the sights of Provence. Hotel itself is out of the way, but very calm and relaxing. Nice pool area and large pool for swimming. Rooms are simple, but clean and quite spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Only tried breakfast one day during our stay; it was a bit rubbish, so much better to go to a local bakery. Bonnieux and Goult have good ones. Did not eat the one option only dinner. Reception was a bit disorganised. We arrived a bit early on the first day and reception told us they would call us at the pool when the rooms were ready. They did not and said later they were too busy. Not very customer or hospitality focussed. Apart from that, good place as a base. Do book local restaurants in advance in the summer season, as turning up or even calling up last minute does not really work. Recommend this hotel.

I had to book an emergency hotel last minute as was badly let down by a terrible villa and this little gem came up trumps. The receptionist was polite- we were allowed to even store our supermarket shop in his fridge! The rooms were simple but clean and quiet with AC and on a par with a UK premier Inn . Pool area clean and civilised - pool furniture all plastic but comfortable. For the money can definitely recommend and the room was quiet so slept fine - an added bonus . All in all great for one night .

We stumbled upon this hotel on our way to Aix en Provence and would love to stay longer. It looks old and run down from the steet but offers clean, comfortable rooms. It is located on 32ha with a swimming pool and a park-like area with hiking trails. Our room was spacious with a seating area and very nice bathroom - clean and well kept. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the service was good. Staff were business like and not too friendly.

+ : calm hotel, nice and calm pool, clean room, clean hotel, airconditioned room. Environment outside hotel is nice. Allways enough seats at the pool. Breakfast is ok, but basic. -: some personal not friendly at all. Food was set before your nose without any 'have a nice meal' or something else. Diner is 1 fix menu, so you like it or not. There is no option. Hotel 7/10, food 5/10 Average 6/10

In a lovely building our very small room was clean and functional, as was our even smaller ensuite bathroom. The hotel is ideal for a stopover, especially for large groups, with plenty of parking and a spacious dining room.
