I have stayed at Superior Shores for 5years with my two daughters, sons-in law and two grandchildren for 5 years. They have been staying there for 15 years. We rent 2 motel rooms and a cottage. The rooms are always spotlessly clean and Don and Linda are friendly and accommodating. The rooms are small but very adequate. As for biting... More

A sweet little gem right on the lake. We were given a lake front room and enjoyed watching the sunset from the comfort of our room. It included a small sitting/breakfast/room with a wonderful view. Although it is an older resort it was sufficient for our needs. Great place to stay after a day hiking in the Porkies.

This small. older resort is located right on the Lake Superior shore a little over fives miles west of Ontonagon. You can gps them by the 26156 number or watch for their big sign. We had unit #3, a smaller unit, which was clean and up-to-date with tv, portable a/c, fridge, coffee pot, microwave, and king bed. I don't know... More

Sencond time here for just a day or two. I cant wait to come back again for a longer visit. Tonight we sat out back by the lake with a billion stars and the Big Dipper front and center. A gift. A BIG shout out to Linda and Don for such an enjoyable time. You have a wonderful place.

Its right on the beach and this has spectacular sunsets. The kitchen is fully equipped and the cabins are clean and well maintained. Its ten mins away from Porcupines and Lake of clouds. There is a provision for log-fire by the beach with sittings provided. Also Kayaks are available.Dan, the owner of the cottages is very helpful. Highly recommended. Cant... More

Although we weren't able to stay at the beach house we rented, I want to put a review up that speaks to the customer service exhibited by the owners. We had made a reservation and paid our deposit; within the 14 day window for a return of the full deposit for cancelling we had to cancel due to a serious... More

We stayed 3 nights here. I initially booked it because of the very reasonable cost. The room was comfortable but is rather outdated. The television is old and has a poor picture. Bring your own shampoo and kleenex as there were none provided! The resort is a bit crowded but we didn't feel overrun by other guests at all. There... More

We stayed in an end room in the motel part of the resort and could hear the waves breaking on the rocks outside our window. We enjoyed the sunset and bonfire with other guests, kayaks were available but the lake was too rough during our stay. The room was small but adequate and clean. Close to the Porcupine Mountain Park... More

Excellent roadside motel with Lake Superior 40 feet from our room door ! Don, the manager (owner?) was friendly and really helpful in helping us find a good place to eat during our one night stay. Although older, it's very well kept up and if in the area again we'll definitely stay here again. The sunset over Lake Superior was... More

only stayed here one night and we arrived late. The owners left our key taped to the door and were very nice when we spoke to them in the morning. They gave us ideas of what to see while we were there. We stayed in room 7 (I think) which was on the end closest to the water. Cute mom... More
