Nice room overlooking lake towards Macinac. Room clean, and kept clean during stay. Continental breakfast was provided, but was so over crowded with families there was no room. Pool was nice, clean and not overly chlorinated.More

Thank you for your question pepper001. We typically do one large project each winter while we are closed. Last year we did window replacements, painting, parking lot expansion and repair. This year we have taken on quite a bit. We are in the building a new lobby that is connected to the hotel, some pool renovations, balcony replacement, but our biggest most noticeable work will be on the beach with over 1000 yards of sand , and we have started on building our brand new beach bar / breakfast area. Starting in July you will not find a better view for morning breakfast or and evening cocktail. Some other minor updates are painting, the addition of a gift / sundry/ beer / wine shop, Brand New Updated WIFI throughout the entire building and grounds. No more dead spots, dropped connections, as our internet provider has upgraded our TV service and Internet to Fiber Optic. Those of you who have stayed I the past know about the old cable tv boxes and not so reliable internet service.
