This B & B was simple but nice. It was is located right across from lake and on summer Saturday nights has a great view of the fireworks. It is also located within walking distance of every downtown store. Great Location! The rooms at the Boardwalk are simple, no major luxury items such as flat screen TV, bathtub, or elevator....

A step up the stairs and back in time. What nice people. We were greeted as the owner walked down the stairs and we're made welcome. " Would you like to see a room?" They only offer coffee and bagels but you can get a 15% discount at the restaurant across the street.

My friend and I fell in love with this very lovely old hotel. It was so comfortable, clean and quaint. The owners, Kayla and Jim, are so friendly and so helpful. The breakfast was just fine. If you want more, go to a bigger chain and pay more. We loved every minute we were there.

Stayed one night. Our room was very clean and extremely large. We had the suite on the top floor which had 2 bedrooms with queen beds, two baths and seating area. Worked well for us. You have to be able to climb stairs. Staff members were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was basic but good. Would definitely stay again. Lots...

The guest rooms are on the third floor, so there are plenty of stairs to climb. This is a hundred year old hotel so the experience is very different from a chain. It was spotlessly clean and the people were friendly and helpful. There is a nice view of the harbor and the rooms are very quiet. If you expect...

Mid-week vacation stayed 3 nights. Jim & Kayla very welcoming and let us check out rooms before purchase. Light continental breakfast every morning with coffee early. Very affordable for off the island experience. Nice to come back to a quieter area after a day of sightseeing on Mackinac. 1 short set of stairs to first floor rooms, 1 full set...

We stayed here for a long weekend because we were attending a friends wedding. It was listed as a Bed and Breakfast, but all we had was a breakfast of toast, bagels, cereal, lots of carbs and no protein or fruit. They were accommodating of our group of 7, by letting us hang out in the breakfast area or entry...

We stayed at the Boardwalk Inn about ten years ago and really enjoyed our stay. We chose to repeat. This stay was a bit disappointing. The room was clean. But it was the little things that were missing. One hand towel in the bathroom. No tissues. That chair cushions were completely broken down. The inn is tired...

I wanted to like this place, really! But TVs from 1980 with bad reception, horrible cold Walmart bagels, cereal, and English muffins for breakfast I must say it needs to try harder. Maybe paint the place too? I'll spend more but stay elsewhere next time.

I've been bringing my tour groups to Boardwalk Inn for 3 years now, and have had excellent service from owners Kayla and Jim. The Inn is charming and the attractions close by are good for my guests. Kayla and Jim put their best effort into keeping the property up, and they've always been ready to help with our special requests....
