Wonderful B&B beside the lake. Bill was an excellent host, great conversationalist, and a dynamite breakfast chef. Jody filled in for Bill over the weekend and was equally affable and competent. Breakfast was a special treat each day. We also made a special effort to return around 5:00 PM or so for some nice cheese and wine. The view toward...

I stayed at South Cliff for one evening while on route to another location. I was warmly greeted, shown my charming room, given a tour of the cozy seating areas and even offered a glass of wine as my welcome to this lovely home. While I wasn't up for the wine, I did enjoy a fabulous sun set and great...

We stayed at the South Cliff Inn for 3 nights and I have to say that we absolutely loved our stay there. The house is adorable and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The owner Bill makes homemade breakfast every day and it was delicious! We were there for the 70.3 Ironman in Benton Harbor and the Inn was...

Our room felt so welcoming; the view was fabulous! The sunset was perfect ;) The hosts were very kind, with a passion for what they do. Breakfast was yummy; served...

We stayed here for two nights. Our room was comfortable and clean. There was wine and cheese at 5pm each day - what a treat! The breakfasts were amazing! The innkeeper provided delicious gluten-free baked goods with breakfast. The other baked goodies were excellent, according to my husband. The garden was pretty and it had a nice lookout over the...

Had a nice two-night stay here in June of 2014. We had 3 rooms. The main attraction of this place is the backyard, which has a large porch with plenty of seating and another smaller deck further out in the backyard that looks over Lake Michigan. Nice trees. Quiet and peaceful place to have a drink and watch the sunset....

We were attending a concert by Brass Transit at the college with friends and stayed at the South Cliff Inn. The rooms were comfortable, very clean, and a very good buffet style breakfast was served. We enjoyed our winter getaway although it was too short! Dinner recommendations were excellent and the innkeeper wonderful.

Just spent one night on our way farther north but it was well worth it. Stayed in the Gable room, with a queen bed and mock fireplace. Everything was super clean, the inn keeper was amazingly nice and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and enough food to really get you full. You cannot get down to the water from the inn...
