We live in the Sault, but picked to camp here for a week 'stay-cation'. The view of the freighters was great. The campground quiets right down in the evenings. And it's close to Sault downtown. Over all great stay.

Husband & I were on a cross country trek. We got to Sault St. Marie & checked out the "other" Campground in town first & left immediately. When we got to Soo Locks we were promptly greeted by a very courteous young lady - she was quite helpful. The camp spot was great, the facilities were very clean, and we...

We pulled in here several hours ago for a two night stay and we are so very pleased with our view. We sit right along the St Mary's River with our camper just 20' from the waters edge. The campsites are small but, to the best of my knowledge, campgrounds are limited in this area. I do strongly recommend that...

stayed one night in 24 ft rv.... everything was nice... they have rules and expect all to abide... would stay again, as I have no problem following rules! Lots of things to do near by... close to everything... rode bike from camp ground to everything! I loved it!

Well, it all started out OK. We just bought a new Jeep vehicle and wanted to take it to northern MI over a three day weekend, for some backroading. I had just bought a new tent for upcoming vacation (possible beach camping in California), so I thought, "let's just go up and camp the three nights to test the new...

Was nice and quiet, young lady in office was very helpful. Older owners were kinda grumpy, but that's to be expected on a holiday weekend. LOL. other than that is was a nice place. The view of the Freighters was nice and the fishing was good. Lots were medium in size and fire pits were fixed in the ground instead...

We have always loved this campground, but it is unfortunate that the owners choose to be rude, even when it is not necessary and a pleasant approach would have been equally effective. It always amazes me when a business owner is rude to a customer or guest, the very people they depend upon for their livelihood and without whom they...

Nice to be near water. Campsites are very close together. We didn't have a campfire because there was no privacy. Showers were adequate and clean. Desk staff was friendly and helpful. Good when passing through but definitely not for those looking for a true camping experience.
