Location, ambience, staff friendliness, wine, rooms....all incredible. Being in top of the hill overlooking both east and west grand traverse bay, the location couldn't be more dramatically great for a Great Lakes winery/bed and breakfast. Rooms are interesting, clean, and comfortable. I'm now a frequent visitor.

Great wine! Better than others. Fantastic views from the tasting room. Excellent tasting room with a superior staff. And you can spend the night if you like. What more could you ask for. Tastings were $3 for six wines, $5 for 8 wine and they even had one more level plus they apply your tasting fee to your purchase. One...

This is our fourth stay here and each time we appreciate it more. The accommodations are first rate. The atmosphere relaxing and while this time we were greeted with a blizzard the scenery and setting is spectacular. The breakfast is gourmet and Bob our host makes everyone feel welcome. The winter season two nights for the price of one is...

My girlfriend and I visited the Chateau for two nights prior to Thanksgiving. The first advice I would give to anyone traveling is plan to arrive during the daytime. The roads leading to Traverse City are not well lit. The views are breathtaking during the day, so take advantage of it. Also, the property is not well lit (apparently due...

Greetings, Thank you for providing us with a review, we appreciate hearing from our guests! Yes, the dark-night sky ordinance on the Peninsula makes for great star viewing, but not street finding! Great advice about arriving during daylight hours. Thanks again, we hope to see you again in the future! Cheers, Marie-Chantal Dalese

Came here for our annual Mac and Cheese Bake Off. We rented the executive apartment and we were not disappointed. We had 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms along with sofa bed....we had a nice kitchen where we made breakfast and crockpot dinner. The views are fabulous from any room. You have access to the tasting room after hours and if...

Well rooted and established winery with updated decor. Wine selection was good with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Great outdoor scenery with overviews of vineyard and bay. Small snacks available which complimented the wine.

What a jewel right in my beautiful Michigan backyard! My wife and I have stayed at the B&B for our last two anniversaries, and it gets harder to leave each time. The suites were recently remodeled and boast such regal decors that you immediately feel engulfed by romance and decadence. The rooms have breathtaking views of the bays, and one...

Great place to wine taste no matter the season, but late October is prime! Chateau Chantal sits on the middle of Mission Point and the views are fantastic, and the colors were beautiful despite the cold weather! They weren't too busy, and we enjoyed our first experience wine tasting here! Our server was very helpful!

Took our daughter her boy friend and his family to see the amazing views and of course try the great wines they have here. The views from this hilltop winery are simply beautiful, been here spring summer and fall and it's incredible. The staff is very engaging and knowledgeable, and the tasting samples are very interesting. It is a bed...
