We celebrated our 25th anniversary here in late October and hit peak colors - such beautiful views on Old Mission Peninsula and on the property. Cindy does a nice job of orientation, and she and Jay provide a nice booklet of recommendations on all things Traverse City/OMP/Leelanau peninsulas. At 5pm in the lovely living area, they provide some light hors-d'oevres... More

This is our second bed and breakfast and I was in awe when we came up the picturesque view of the driveway to the Inn. From the moment we were greeted by Cindy and her husband Jay we felt so welcome into their home. Cindy gave us a warm and inviting welcome along with a tour and a brief background... More

My wife searched diligently for a special place to celebrate our 40th. Having a two year old Bed and Breakfast gift certificate in our possession, we figured this would be a good time to use it. We love the Traverse City area and try to make an annual pilgrimage during the color season. This year the trees were about a... More

My wife and I stayed in the Garden Room this past weekend and our overall experience was great. The owners were out of town and our fill in Inn keeper Suzi was fantastic. Very personable and helpful with any questions we had. The breakfasts were great and well prepared. If I had to give any feedback at all it would... More

Thank you so much for appreciating the efforts we, as well as our temporary innkeeper, make to provide the ambiance of a French Country inn, and focusing on the positive aspects of our breakfasts and other amenities. Each of our rooms has a unique theme and we utilize rather different methods in each to accommodate the various needs travelers might... More

Waves of grapevines and lines of cherry trees. Bushes of lavender and a bocce/boules court. Bountiful, French-inspired breakfasts (2 courses!) with a choice of juices. Cindy and Jay are the best of Michigan, if not the entire USA. Friendly, open, smart, and all 'round "salt of the earth" humans and hosts. They have put their hearts and souls into each... More

My wife and I spent a couple of days at this beautiful inn in July. It serves as the perfect base for a tour of all that Mission Point, Traverse City and Sutton's Bay has to offer. It's minutes away from wineries and fine dining. The grounds allow you to walk through rows of grape vines, country roads and forest.... More

The breakfasts are spectacular. Often the "breakfast" part is given short shrift. Not here. The setting is lovely and your hosts will bend over backwards to help you enjoy your stay. If you've never been to Traverse City, go. I was surprised how cool it is.

My wife and I had the opportunity to get away for a couple of days, and we were so fortunate to stay at the Grey Hare Inn. Cindy and Jay are absolutely THE best hosts. My husband and I and another couple spent three night at Grey Hare Inn. Our stay was lovely. Cindy had a substitute inn keeper, Susie, for our first two nights. Susie was outstanding and very welcoming. Breakfasts were delicious and held us for most of the day. Sitting out in the back of the house looking out on the vineyards and... More

What a great place to visit. Cindy and Jay were amazing hosts that made my stay very enjoyable. The location is ideal for hitting the wineries and also taking to TRAVERSE CITY for some local fare. I highly recommend staying here and enjoying the beautiful views.
