Stayed here for a business conference. Older hotel that has been remodeled some, and has a conference center built on. Downstairs lobby decor was nice. Rooms okay, elevators a bit slow. Very intersting and eclectic hotel shop inthe lobby. It was generally a pleasant enough e

Great location downtown Traverse City with many things walkable distance. Loved the piano bar on the top in the Beacon Lounge. Tom Kaufmann is fun and talented on the keyboard and gets everyone on their feet to dance and song with his music.

The desk staff were very friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions in the downtown area. Easy walking to everything in the city. The king size bed was comfortable and the rooms were clean. We felt the room size was adequate. Easy parking. Upstairs bar with a great view!

Stayed one night for wine tasting on Old Mission Pennisula. We had a king bed room in the Tower. The room decor was updated and the bed and furnishings were comfortable. The bathroom was on the small side but fine, clean and good water pressure in the shower.

Hi, Kim. What would you like to know about this accommodation? I have heard part of this hotel is remolded, and other portions are not. I also have a conference there next week, is there an area of rooms I need to try to stay away from? After reading your review, I'm not so excited to be going here. Any advise is helpful.
When we reserved our room, the lady working the front desk suggested that we choose a room in the tower, as they are more modern and roomy ($10 upcharge). The room was not large compared to modern hotels, but it was bigger than the non-tower room we had stayed in previously. The decor and furnishings were updated and clean.

Hello, am I correct in understanding that the rooms are under renovation right now and if so is it all rooms and when will it be complete? Thank you
When we were there in August they had just started the project and not many were done. We were in the tower and the room we were in was not renovated, but I don't know beyond that!

Sorry to contact you like this. I just wanted to say that your experience with the disgusting rooms at the Park Place in Traverse City is EXACTLY like mine! I wrote a very similar review the same day as you wrote yours and I just noticed they're virtually the same story. I can't come up with harsh enough words to describe that dump. Sorry, again. I had to vent. I had to get it out. No one else understands. Haha.
I love the parkplace and have nothing at all to say bad about it. it is old and quaint. if you were looking for brand new this is definately not the place. also the staff is awesome.. even when I go in for a drink. park place is a landmark of tc and it is great because of its awesome service
