I cannot recommend this company (Churchill Wild) and its excellent Great Ice Bear Adventure enough. From first contact to saying goodbye they go overboard to look after you. Dymond Lake is a remote lodge on the edge of the Hudson Bay. Accommodation is in two lodges with a central building housing the kitchen and dining room. All surrounded by a...

The trip experience was everything we could have hoped for and more! We walked with our guides out among the polar bears and felt safe every minute and the bears felt safe, too. We stayed a respectful distance but still could see them so close and so clearly. They are every bit the animal of the calendars and Nat Geo...

I came to Dymond Lake Lodge (run by Churchill Wild) with extremely high expectations and they were exceeded in every way!! This trip is called the "Great Ice Bear adventure". I chose them because they offer viewing of the polar bears from the ground on their terms. From the moment we landed in Winnipeg, the Churchill Wild team of Doreen...

We stayed in Dymond Lake Lodge in late October 2016 and I can't recommend it highly enough. I am fortunate enough to have travelled all over the world and have seen some amazing wildlife but I think this was the best! The polar bears are there - right on your doorstep! The guides, Terry and Josh were friendly, helpful and...

We did the "Great Ice Bear adventure" with Churchill Wild. We stayed at Dymond Lake Lodge in Nov, 2016. We saw polar bears and northern lights, ate absolutely divine food catered for and served by great staff, had magnificent, knowledgeable tour guides Terry and Josh, and had the adventure of a lifetime. In Churchill we saw artic foxes, snowy owls,...

Our trip to Dymond Lake Lodge through Churchill Wild was one of the best experiences of my life! We saw polar bears from the plane as we landed, were walking out towards them within minutes. Careful, responsible hiking allowed us great access to the bears' world. We saw five polar bears each day, big and small, sleeping, eating and sparring!...

We stayed at the Dymond lodge from November 11-15 where we had amazing bear encounters. Our guides Terry and Josh were very friendly and knowledgable. They explained that to a bear we are either food, a threat or just part of the scenery and our guides always made sure we remained part of the scenery. This is a feel-good trip...

We have been lucky enough to visit many amazing places and see a huge variety of wildlife, but this experience is up there with the best of them and one we will never forget. The staff couldn't be friendlier or more accommodating, the food was excellent and the guides were extremely professional, affording us the opportunity to get closer to...

Unbelievable trip. Everyone should do this once. The guides get you up close with the bears but it's always safe and responsible. We came home with great photos, videos and memories. The lodge itself is very comfortable, the service is amazing and they really look after you all day every day. The food is fantastic, and the staff are attentive....
