Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was our 5th year visiting the wonderful Queens Arms in Litton. It is a very special place and Michelle, Matt and the team work so hard to make it so good. From the roaring fire to the lovely beer and outstanding food it’s just perfect! We love the area for the walks and tranquility and will certainly be back. Thank you 😊

We had an amazing stay at The Queens Arms with our two dogs. Food excellent, all the staff very accommodating (especially Michelle) and the locals very friendly. The bar had a great atmosphere and is full of character as was our room. The area is just stunning, a very special place. We will certainly be back.

The warm, friendly atmosphere and fantastic staff made us very welcome. We were staying a 5 min walk from the pub and used the take away menu on most nights!, simply because it was delicious food, with excellent portions. The beer was superb, a real pleasure to visit. It was good to see Willshire after his valiant performance at the dog racing at Appletreewick. (Not bad for 13 years old)

My wife and I had a day out in Wharfedale and Littondale today and decided to stop at this pub for a first time for lunch. After a friendly welcome the weather was warm enough to sit outside and the food and location were superb, with off road parking available just opposite. Many thanks. We hope to return and perhaps even stop over next time,

Brilliant away from it all location in a real country pub. A lovely couple run a brilliant menu and " no word of a lie" served us the best pie evening meal we've EVER eaten (perfect after a long hike) & it got better as we had the best EVER full English breakfast. For seasoned travellers, that's high praise, well deserved, really nice people, keep up the good work.

We wanted a night away for your anniversary and it was just perfect. Beautiful location, stunning views, lovely food and friendly staff. We checked in which was a little earlier as the rooms were ready. I loved we could bring our dog as well as this really makes a difference. Had a lovely day at Grassington and then came back for tea and the food was delicious. I had the lamb and steak pie which was so tasty. My partner had a steak and he asked for it medium rare but it was more medium well done. (This is the only bit of feedback) but I suppose everyone’s perception on steak is very different. (He was a chef) Also had a sticky toffee pudding which I throughly enjoyed and my partner had a cheese board which he loved. Had a good nights sleep. Then breakfast was fantastic, the lady serving was so friendly and polite. She went above and beyond. There was no way of going home hungry as she made sure if you wanted more toast or more coffee/tea she was there. She is definitely in the right job. Fantastic service! All in all a lovely stay and a lovely anniversary break away.

We have now stayed at the Queens Arms several times & have already booked again. If you are looking for a little peace & quiet in a stunningly beautiful location this is the ideal place for you. The Lamb beers brewed on site are excellent if you are a fan of real ales, this time it was their IPA I tried which was great. All the food we ate was cooked in the kitchen we were sat next to & was amazing, just one tip, come hungry! Our room, which we have stayed in before was immaculate & after the noise from the bar had quitened down (not too bad or late) the only sounds we heard during the night were owls & sheep. Michelle & her staff really look after all guests & visitors & nothing is too much trouble for them. Looking forward to our next visit in October.

Complete lack of customer service. I've had better hotel stays in £30 travelodge rooms, and this was over 3 x the price. Basin in bathroom had a large crack in it, and we were just told by the staff that they knew about it. Some sort of function going on in the main restaurant room of the pub, meaning paying guests had to eat in the extremely cramped bar area, with regulars leaning over you at your table, when raising a concern with the owner were just told its a pub. Eventually placed to eat at a table next to a busy thoroughfare from the bar to the kitchen and to the pub toilets, so were constantly bumped into. Lock on door to bedroom jammed with us trapped inside, had to phone the pub to come and unlock from the outside, a massive fire safety issue, just to be told by the owner i'll get someone to look at it. Had to sleep all night with the door unlocked for fear of safety

came for 3 days myself my husband and our little cockapoo Luna. very clean hotel, very friendly owners and staff. food is amazing we had all our meals there! they will cook anything requested for breakfast, and refills for tea and coffee in draws outside rooms. the views are spectacular and the bar is so quirky. i would definitely stay again. my husband drank their own brewed cask and loved it! i had no down side to my visit but the hubby wanted a tv in room just for morning news but nice change not to have one.
