Rakesh was lovely. Nothing to much trouble. Girl on reception couldn't find dinner reservation although I booked it online. Lovely room, worth spending the extra on premiere plus room. Reception area small (2 people sitting at a desk). I felt sorry for staff. Low volume on TV. Lovely room. Shower only (no bath) that's good for saving water and energy. No safe, very disappointing. I find it quite entertaining that you can sit on the toilet and watch TV at the same time.
Having to have a voucher for dinner is a bit outdated & if you lose it or leave it in your room your not getting anything to eat. Brewers fayre: girl serving miserable. Didn't tell us we have to order at the bar. We are sitting there waiting to be served. Only after asking someone were we told 'you have to order at the bar.' Oliver was lovely, happy to help. Sticky menus. Plenty of parking. Nice room, nice staff, nice price.
Breakfast: Very disappointing. Not much food on offer. Angel was lovely, she had to deal with a difficult situation. She was firm but respectful. The people were rude but she didn't retaliate. No

I stayed here for two nights as I did not live local to my friend and he was getting married.
Me my Partner and our Little Boy stayed in a room with a double bed and a single.
We recieved everything we paid for and the value for money is fantastic.
Don't stay here is you want luxuary but I cant fault premier Inns for their Comfort and good nights sleep!
The night watchman was an absolute Gent and he could not do enough for us as guests when we came back after the wedding reception. I think his name was Stan.

Breakfast is provided in the Brewers fayre located next door and this is good value.
My only gripe was that they seemed to be extremely busy and they could not keep up with demand but I have been told this is very rare.

Overall a fantastic trip :)

Looking for a night’s accommodation near to family, we chose the Premier Inn primarily for its location. The two rooms we booked were extremely reasonably priced considering the time of year. The hotel was easily accessible from the A421 and our room was a good size, comfortable, well appointed and very clean. The bed was really comfortable with immaculate bed linen

We were able to park immediately outside the Reception area.

We had booked a continental breakfast, which is available from Brewers Fayre immediately opposite, although rain made this less than perfect, We were advised by fellow guests that it was best to book a table for an evening meal, but we were lucky enough eat without booking. The food was of an average standard, but the convenience factor made up for this,

I would definitely return to this hotel when next visiting the area.

The only good thing about this hotel was the location. It is is close to main road route and positioned in a nice area.
The first thing we noticed was all the shower tray sealant was covered in black mould and the white tile grouting was dirty brown. The wash basin would only drain very slowly and produced a sewerage smell when draining. upon having a closer look the plug hole was partially blocked with hair and slimy stuff. it was probably saliva from previous people clean teeth etc. We ask the room cleaner to clean this out but it made no difference to the slow drainage.
The atmosphere in the room was smelt stale and sweaty. Due to not being able to open the window (by design) there was distinct lack of fresh air.
Considering there has been a long period of hotel closure due to COVID-19 lockdown, I would have expected things like mouldy shower sealant to have been replaced.
We have stayed at many Premier Inns in the past and this one was probably the worse. I am not convinced this hotel is carrying out all the extra COVID cleaning precautions that it advertises.
We also found the attached Brewers Faire dinner and breakfast below their normal standard. Only a choice of 3 types of breakfast cereals, undercooked bacon and sausage. The Maypole Farm pub across the car park from the hotel was of a much better quality and value.
Immediately following on from this stay in Bedford we had pre-booked to stay at the Premier Inn Twickenham East. I am very please to say this hotel was perfect in every way. It was clean and fresh with a faint smell of bleach all around the property.

This is the first time I have stayed in this hotel and it won't be the last.

The hotel has easy access and there is plenty of parking with two pubs/restaurants in easy walking distance. Parking is not electronically monitored as is often the case nowadays leading to endless emails attempting to get parking charges refunded when things go awry, as they so often do.

There is a very small but functional reception area and the booking process is quick and easy. The rooms are large with a double bed, large dressing table, couch, hairdryer and the like. The ensuite is large with a wonderful two person shower. The rooms were clean and well kept.

For a short stay, this hotel is great, clean, comfortable and affordable. There are many hotels in and around Bedford but I would certainly place this one at the top of my list.

Food is served at an adjacent Brewers Fayre which is equally pleasant with helpful and friendly staff.

Booked interconnecting rooms for a family birthday weekend only to arrive to find the hotel is fully booked and our rooms; one which was very dusty and the other with a dirty shower, were on different floors. Kudos to the staff, they was very helpful, professional and promptly rectified all the problems the following day so we were able to enjoy the rest of our stay. We had breakfast both days at the Brewers Fayre next door, the staff was very helpful and the food was very well prepared.

I stayed in a family room with my two children for one night. The camp bed was squeaky and uncomfortable so my daughter shared the double bed with me. Upon arrival we were greeted with a sign saying someone would be back soon and to ring the buzzer, which I rang several times and eventually a girl appeared who was friendly, but gave no apology for the 10 min wait. There was no swipe on the external doors so anyone could walk in to the corridor where the rooms are. The receptionist did not ask about meals and I later found I needed a slip to confirm I'd paid for the meal deal, which I had to go back across to the hotel for when about to order in the pub.
The room had a stale smoke smell which was unpleasant, but otherwise was comfortable, though more than two teabags in a family room would be nice!
The Brewers Fayre opposite was a little chaotic, though the staff were very efficient and friendly. They are essentially very understaffed and various things kept breaking as far as I could tell - the dishwasher and the oven, meaning a wait for clean bowls and the pastries ran out, fortunately after we'd eaten! There was also no lemonade so we paid for the refillable drinks for nothing really as my daughter only wanted lemonade. They did provide an orange juice instead at least. My dessert was forgotten and I had to chase it up, again a mistake due to understaffing. A nice enough pub with lovely staff but needs more of them.
Next time we stay in Bedford I will probably try the Travelodge instead.

This is the second or third time we have used this hotel in advance of athletics meetings in Bedford. It’s in an accessible location and there is plenty of on-site free parking which makes it more attractive than other premier inns in the area.

The check in was good and the rooms were clean and tidy with the normal high quality beds and duvets.

Unfortunately breakfast was a bit of a disaster! One member of staff was running the whole place and she tried so hard to keep everyone happy but we had to wait to be seated despite being booked in, there was a long delay to order and frankly the food served up was pretty dreadful.

We felt really sorry for the lone member of staff but this Brewers Fayre let the Premier Inn down on this occasion.

Unfortunately the stay we had wasn’t great. We were given room 101 (avoid at all cost if a family) above the entrance with drunk guests in and out until 5am - no control by night manager, guests so drunk they pooped all over the stairs (management said he was sleep walking) but the drunk guests constantly trying to get in our room - terrifying for the kids and no offer of any money back.
The manageress informed us that poo was classed as a hazodius substance and unfortunately no hazard cleaners worked on Sunday so the night manager tried to move The larger bits but the remainder sat on the floor from Saturday at 5am till Monday morning! Honestly not kidding

We went to the brewers fayre for dinner the night we arrived. The staff were so unenthusiastic and disinterested in their jobs. We recieved an A4 sheet of paper with a list of 16 items on the menu that weren’t in stock. After our mains we were waiting quite some time for the waitress to clear away our plates and bring out desert. In the end we had to call her and ask her to remove the plates. Service was shocking. We noticed while eating dinner that all of the cereal for brekfast was still out beside the bar. The next morning we came for breakfast we went up to get some hot food. Basically all trays were empty and what was left looked so dried out from the lamps. We sat down and waited about 10 minutes or so to see if they would bring more out. They did not. A couple came in for breakfast and asked them to bring out more food. They did. The waitress should be asking the chef to make more food before it runs out to avoid this. Was very frustrating as we were on a strict time schedule.

Hi can't remember my room number but the building seems well enough insulated from noise and my room was at the front. Re towels I was on my own but now you mention it I think there was only 1bath sheet and hand towel.

No but they are incredibly flexible - so if not full they will simply move your room. Premier Inn seem keen that we book online and check in online. I have always found this hotel with a person on reception to sort out final room!

No Premier Inn has laundry, it's a motel. But there will be laundrettes in Bedford, and many supermarkets have kiosks that offer dry cleaning.
