Stayed here with Teenage kids for a weekend of fishing and ATV riding. Crooked lake is great fishing, and several trout lakes / streams are within 15 minutes of the resort. Cabin was comfortable, and like others have said on this site, no running water and each cabin has its own outhouse. There is a central shower/ sauna building as...

The cabins at Crooked Lake Resort have electricity and with it a couple of lights and a fridge but no plumbing. There is a central shower house and drinking water spigot available. So, if you kinda like camping but don't love sleeping on the ground with the animals and insects this fits the bill. A bed and fridge but you...

Our fishing group has been making two trips per year to Crooked Lake for the past twenty years. We have NEVER had a bad experience, and have always found the Schumacher's to be friendly and helpful, and the food at the Trestle to be excellent. If you want fancy, go to an all inclusive. If you want a quality northwoods...

If you like nature and are looking for something between camping and moteling, I heartily recommend the cabins at Crooked Lake Resort. (They also have campsites.)
