We have just returned home from spending four nights in this delightful B & B. We were made to feel very welcome by Frank and Carol. Our room was very comfortable and Carol has a great eye for detail. Drawing back the curtains in the morning to the sound of bird song and the running water of the stream you... More

If it's a very comfortable, relaxed and restful place you want in east Devon, West Colwell Farm is the place to go. We've just had four nights B&B there and it would be difficult to find a better place. The room we stayed in (Farmer) was really pleasant. Everything you could need is there. The en suite is spacious and... More

In Devon for just one night to attend a funeral of an old friend in nearby Offwell we found West Colwell Farm by accident but what serendipity. Our room was comfortable, well furnished and with great attention to detail. We were made to feel very welcome by Frank & Carol and they could not have done more to make us... More

I love it when you find somewhere to stay that is as comfortable as being in your own home but with the right luxuries that make it special enough to know you are on holiday. Do not go to Ofwell if you don't like your own company - or your partners come to that! This beautiful BnB is remotely located... More

Yes, the approach lane is narrow when overgrown but this was March so no problem. Converted farm building makes a very tasteful room (Farmer), comfortable bed, more than adequate en suite with shower, great open view and usable small veranda accessed through French doors. Extremely quiet. Tasty breakfast and sociable, informative hosts. It would be nice if all B&Bs reached... More

My family booked out all 3 rooms, and we were impressed. This place felt like a little bit of heaven in a far away paradise. For a city-dweller like me maybe that's of no great surprise! Give me a tree and I'll smile! The welcome was warm, the house spotless and cosy, the food fresh and tasty. I was only... More

Frank and Carol host a superb B&B with such a friendly and informative touch. We have returned yet again because the standard remains very high. Room is comfortable and cosy, and the breakfast can be varied to personal choice. Although being a B&B, there is no pressure to leave your room when staying more then one night. This time we...
