Gundrys farm is a friendly family oriented campsite with in excess of 50 level, grass pitches with electric hookup, suitable for caravans, motorhomes and tents. We have on site showers, toilets, chemical disposal facilities, we have free WiFi, also a dedicated dog walk. We have a balance of touring pitches and seasonal pitches available. What's different about Gundrys - is the space, we have pitches around the edge of our three fields, so people have plenty of space to enjoy the tranquillity or watch the children play. We are a 15-20 off road walk from Moors Valley Country Park, which has wonderful lakes, a golf course, go-ape, mountain bike trails, nature trails- just too much to mention. We are 10 miles from the sandy beaches of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole and we are a 30 minute drive from the world famous Jurassic Coast.

We stayed at Gundrys Farm for a week. The showers and toilets were not as bad as some reviews. They were cleaned at least twice a day and someone came down to check they were clean a few times in the day. The only bad thing I would say that you need a lot more toilets and showers for the amount of people on site. We had a walk around the site and the showers and toilets were so much better for the seasonal caravans. The site it self was very clean and tidy. Also we had our daughter, partner and 2 children came down to visit us and we were charged £3 each adult , which I think is a bit expensive seeing that you don't have anything to do on site. What we liked was the main gate was shut in the evening and you had a barrier to go through, which were both coded. We will come back again.

We enjoyed a 2 week holiday at Gundrys Farm. The toilets are cleaned 5 times a day and are immaculate, as are the showers. There was a rowdy group here who did mess things up, but the owners asked them to leave.
The site is very pretty. There are 3 sets of toilets and 2 sets of showers. The 1 set of toilets/showers is dated, but they are cleaned 5 times a day. We were there in peak season but I never had to queue, there are plenty of other facility blocks on the site.
The area is beautiful and the site is well placed for The New Forest, Christchurch, Lymington and beaches. The walk to the other showers, toilets is beautiful, often seeing squirrels on the lawn or in the trees.
The large bins are emptied daily, we never had any problem with them.

Seeing other reviews we were slightly worried, but had no issues, check in took forever as computers had crashed. Lady drove with us to show us our pitches as we had 5 with our friends as well.
Pitches are huge, we have a berghaus air6xl and could still put car down the side. Lovely touch with the donkeys behind us.

Had a main gate, closed at night and small gates to the field, of which you need codes for to get in and out.

Toilet/shower block..... was not enough toilets only 2 for ladies 1 for the men, plenty of toilet roll, and hand sanitiser. Water was hot enough to put kids in after their slip and slide,

Rubbish was emptied daily

Nice atmosphere kids all joined in with each other, had a huge game of rounders,

Ice cream lady came round each night added bonus.

We never left the site only to the shop, which there is a local one down the road. Also moors valley down the road.

We will be back in the future.

I don’t usually write reviews but this campsite was lovely. Nick was extremely helpful on check in when we got delayed on the road, toilets and showers really clean and on booking they answered all my questions and queries quickly. Although there isn’t a playground for the kids, having the caravans/tents positioned around such a large field meant there was plenty of room for games and you could see them at all times. The donkeys were lovely too. We would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for 4 nights and the site was let down by the terrible facilities. On 3 of the nights the water pressure was so low that the toilets dint flush and were completely blocked. Bins were overflowing since our arrival on Saturday until Wednesday. The site also allows large groups which meant the noise and music went on until the early hours. Sunset field only had 1 male toilet and 2 showers and 2 ladies toilets and 3 showers for neeay 70 pitches and there was always a que. Would nor recommend.

Grundrys Farm Campsite:
Firstly, this is a huge site, 4 very large open fields. Pitches are around the edge of the field which gives the children plenty of room to play ball games in the middle.
The problem is, for such a large site, the bathroom facilities are totally inadequate. Four ladies toilets in total, 2 of which are in a mobile toilet/shower block which was very small and unclean. The mobile block was based in a field and whilst I appreciate this is not the campsites fault, had groups of children and adult standing around outside. The toilet floor was covered in tissue paper and empty sweet bags (again user negligence) and the toilets were full because the pressure wasn’t adequate to flush them completely.
The shower blocks in the main building were clean, a bit small, but the water was dangerously hot. The cold tap dribbled water down the shower head, and forced even more hot water out.
The owners weren’t overly friendly and I have to agree with other comments, it’s all about the money. Thankfully we were only booked in for 2 nights, we only stayed 1 because of the facilities.
This has the potential to be an amazing site, the grounds need tidying, grass needs to be cut, overflowing rubbish bins emptied, office smartened up and adequate toilet/shower faculties added. The is an over priced campsite for the facilities on offer. We won’t be returning.

Looked a nice peaceful site on arrival, we liked the fact there were barriers for entry/exit. On arrival, we found our pitch was in fact taken over by 2 tents on either side, meaning we had to ask for another pitch, which worked out better for us. The toilet/shower facilities certainly lets this site down, even though the cleaners came once a day, you still dont expect the toilet floors to be covered in water/debris. Lack of facilites caused constant queing for toilets, shower cubicles are very poor, with only a shower curtain covering your modesty, and no where to put personal items, just a hook outside the cubicle itself. Better signage is needed for filling up with fresh water, it took 20 minutes to fill an aqua roll. Distance between tents and caravans need to better more adeaquatly spaced out, people were arriving and adding maruees/extra tents/canapies to their pitch, which incroached on neighbours, We found this to be a fire hazard as there was less then 3 meters inbetween tents/caravans. prehaps this site needs to take a leaf out of surrounding sites, and keep tents and caravans seperate. Also no shop on site and wi fi only worked near the Reception area will not stay here again nor would Recommend .

We arrived here Friday in pouring rain! Taken to our pitches after a small confusion at Reception. Shown toilet/shower block which unfortunately was the most disappointing thing about the whole weekend only 2 ladies toilets and 1 mens being used for a very large field, luckily the site was not busy!!

The toilets were not cleaned regularly considering there is Covid. No soap in either mens/ladies toilets from the moment we arrived until we left, no sanitiser was provided which I am sure is a Covid regulation! Mens toilet kept breaking and wouldn't flush, shower block was not clean and needs some considerable tlc.

We planned a walk to Moors Valley and whilst walking through campsite where there were caravans we found a lovely block of clean toilets, with soap and sanitizer, obviously they were more looked after than us poor campers with tents 😪. We stayed here two years ago and loved it, have to say after this weekend we won't be back again!!

We stayed at Grudys Farm from Saturday - Saturday.

We had a great time.

A little confusing on arriving. But sorted had a map to our pitch which we found easily.

We were very concerned with the reviews we had seen, and we must disagree with the majority or of the negative reviews!!

The toilets were clean most of the time… if they weren’t clean it was a camper not cleaning up after themselves.

The showers were also clean, we showered as a family so locked the door & had no issues. The showers were hot & clean. If they weren’t again a camper left their hair on the shower wall… can you fault the site for that??

Could they be upgraded yes… but not the worst in the world….

Overall a great site & good location.

We will return!!

I stayed here with my 2 boys, with the view to ride to moors valley and surrounding areas.. Nice and close to moors valley, but you need to ride/ walk along a fast road with very thin pavements. Site it self is level with lots of electric hook ups, the toilets and showers really let the site down not enough toilets for the amount of pitches showers we're filthy, cold with no pressure, and the chemical toilet point over flowing and flooding the grass around, with bins over flowing. Check in was painful, took them 30 mins to even find out booking despite showing confirmation etc.
