Needs improvement: room cleanliness, carpets need renovation, lots of ongoing construction. Good: location, management accessibility, lobby, the coffee shop. This hotel is not worth more than150 dollars a day

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

I travel a lot. I've been to all 50 states. So it says something that I'm going to make this type of declarative statement: The Minneapolis Hyatt Regency is my favorite hotel in the U.S. I recently stayed at this hotel again - my third visit. It's really fantastic. The rooms are huge. They're comfortable, clean, and standard rooms feature...

As a native Minnesotan attending a conference, I found the room service and the restaurant "Prairie" one of the best aspects of this hotel: it had the kind of wild rice soup served at northern resorts, walleye, and even a re-styled hot dish with tater tots on top. Lots of locally sourced ingredients (not the tater tots). Room attendants were...

I did not stay here, but came to hotel to workout with a friend. This is the most amazing hotel gym I have ever seen. It is huge and has machines, free weights, cardio, basketball, racquetball, and live streamed yoga. If you want a good workout while traveling this is the place to stay!!!

Rude staff, room filthy. What more is there to say? I will never stay there again. After a 10 hour drive I expected a warm welcome and a properly tended to room. The sink had stuff in it and there was a hair on the towel.

We were here on a convention. The staff was super friendly and check in was a breeze. The room was small but very nice. The restaurant left a but to be desired with service that was slow and sub-par. I did think the food was good but a bit overpriced.

I'm from Minneapolis, so I usually don't stay in hotels here, but my grandmother was in town for Easter weekend and she treated the family to rooms at the Hyatt Regency. It was fun to spend the weekend downtown, but this hotel is at the far end of downtown and it can be a hike to get to some of...

We stayed here overnight on a weekend and loved the property. It wasn't a great gauge of how loud it can be since we weren't there on a busy weeknight, however it was Pride weekend so downtown was even busier than normal throughout the day/evening. What stands out most and may not be of significance to the average traveler was...

Beware: Car window busted while staying at this property. Used ramp attached to hotel, but they have no responsibility and the ramp provides no support whatsoever. Hotel was great. Food was super. Staff is outstanding. Go stay here, but do not park a car. Ever.
