The hotel location is wonderful. A short walk to both the baseball and football stadiums. There were many bars and restaurants close by as well. The staff, especially Faith, was amazing, and we can’t say enough good things about them. Do yourself a favor and have a drink at the bar, the cocktails are well crafted by the bar staff—they make their own sour mix! This was our first visit to Minneapolis and we will be back and, I’m sure, staying at this property!

This was our first time staying in a Curio member of the Hilton portfolio, and it was a terrific surprise. This hotel got all the must-haves (clean, nice, reliable) as well as the unexpected nice-to-haves (pool table and shuffleboard in the lounge, atypical breakfast, and spacious business center) and is connected to the Skyway system. The only small deviation from perfection was the great downtown location and incredible wall of windows meant some downtown noise. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel, especially if you're able to book near the great price we found (and choose your room on the app!)

I just stayed here this week. This hotel possibly has the best crew I’ve ever had at a hotel. Right from the start the woman at the front desk at check in was amazing. I think her name was Kate?! She was friendly and very helpful. We talked about ice cream, she hooked me up with extra water and shaving cream so I didn’t have to go buy any. I extended my stay an extra day. The gentleman at the front helped get me new keys, extend my parking, and genuinely asked if I needed anything. They are giving guests $10 Starbucks gift cards for breakfast since the restaurant is closed. I was eating breakfast in the lobby and he brought me a cold water without me asking.

The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located in the center of everything.

The Marquette Hotel is an old Minneapolis hotel that has joined the Hilton chain and has been beautifully renovated. The front desk clerk was friendly and willing to assist, the room was spacious with windows across the entire wall overlooking the other downtown buildings. Location is perfect for walking to many of the restaurants and venues. Wish we could have stayed longer!

I only stayed two nights for business but I would highly recommend this hotel. I'm a frequent business traveller and this is among the top hotels in which I've stayed. Rooms are large, nicely decorated, well appointed, large windows and VERY clean. Easy access to the skyway which is great for the cold months in Minneapolis. This was a convenient indoor walk to the office where I was meeting. About a 25 minute drive from the airport. The Lounge (for Hilton status members) was also a nice location to meet with colleagues and a restaurant on the main floor where I enjoyed a small buffet breakfast that was tasty.

I recently stayed here for work travel and loved it. My room was quiet, clean, spacious, and relaxing. I had a king bed which was soft and comfortable. I slept very well, which is saying a lot because I typically don't sleep well when I'm traveling. I loved the "wall of windows". Bathroom was a nice size with decent counter space to unpack all of my toiletries, also with a nice size shower. Plenty of cabinets and drawers. I really liked that the drawers had the soft touch closures where they stop about the last inch or so and slowly close so that there is no slamming. Keeps the noise down from other rooms. The doors are thick so there is actual privacy when you close the bathroom door. There is a nice big desk to set up a computer and the rooms has lots of plugs - there is also a wireless charging station by the bed.

The lamps by the bed have dimmer switches so you can adjust the amount of lighting that you want, so you don't have to wake up in the morning and just be blinded with super bright light. That was nice. The exercise room had a decent selection - treadmills, elliptical, a Peloton (with straps, so you don't need clip shoes to use it), a nice set of free weights, and a bench. I wish there was a Smith machine or something, but there might not be enough room for that. But you can get a decent workout with the weights.

The staff was really friendly to me. The thing I think I appreciate the most is that I was able to check in really early. I was already in the city at another hotel the previous weekend for a wedding and was staying for work, and had to check out of that hotel by noon. The Marquette allowed me to immediately check in to their hotel at noon instead of 3:00, so that was awesome. I was able to settle in immediately. That was above and beyond customer service.

Also a plus - it's connected to an atrium with restaurants, shops, and skyways. Super cool.

Overall I highly recommend. I'll go there again if I'm ever back in Minneapolis.

My wife and I stayed for 1 night on Friday, November 10th for proximity to the Stevie Nicks/Billy Joel concert at US Bank Stadium. It was only our 2nd time at the Marquette as a couple, and the previous time several years ago was an absolute treat. Unfortunately, this time was very, very disappointing. We checked in right away, and I was told at the Front Desk that our room was wheelchair accessible. Upon entering Room 562, we were deeply disappointed to discover that the bathroom was not at all wheelchair accessible. So, we took the elevator back down to the lobby and tried again. The service we received was outstanding! I can't remember her name, but she went above and beyond to attempt to make our stay satisfactory. She flipped through her wheelchair accessible room binder, she searched her computer system, she called a manager and also called an important person with housekeeping. She tried, and we don't fault her for trying - thank you for trying! She adjusted our room rate and even gave us complimentary drinks at the bar. However, whoever at the Marquette is responsible for categorizing wheelchair accessible rooms needs to start over and recategorize the rooms again. Room 562 needs to be removed as a wheelchair accessible room until improvements can be made!! Wheelchair accessibility for my wife, for solo travelers and others who utilize these rooms require these room services for safety and independence. Marquette and future wheelchair customers please review just a few of these Room 562 pictures. Room 562 does not have any grab bars by the toilet, the detachable shower head is too high, someone in a bath chair will be unable to use wall fixed body wash/conditioner/shampoo 5 feet behind them, and this room did not even include a portable bath bench. For wheelchair accessible rooms, please consider leaving complimentary body wash, conditioner and shampoo on the bathroom counter. My 1 compliment with this sadly attempted wheelchair room is that the bed was built low to the ground. My wife was able to independently and safely transfer from her wheelchair to this bed. Finally, please consider replacing the shower curtain.

We reserved a corner executive king room and it was absolutely amazing! The views of downtown were gorgous! The bed was super comfy and there was plenty of room for us to move around. The parking garage is located next door so parking was easy, we didn't ever use our car, however, as the hotel is connected to everything downtown via the Skyway system, which makes travel down there easy especially when the weather is bad. Our room came with free happy hour in the 3rd floor lounge, which overlooks the main building. This lounge had shuffle board, pool, foosball, and plenty of hors d'oeuvres and cocktails. The bartending staff was so accomodating and they were on top of their game. It was just perfect. We also had complimentary breakfast in the restaurant downstairs each morning. It was a great way to start the day. The selection of food was perfect, not too much, we were satisfied. We had dinner the restaurant downstairs and the menu was really nice, they also had a great drink selection and wine selection. We will definitely be staying here again when we visit and I would highly recommend this hotel.

The Marquette is a Curio Collection hotel that is affiliated with Hilton. I stay primarily at Hiltons for work, so I also stay at them for leisure as well. I had booked my family into two rooms for three nights at the Marquette. The pictures and ratings seemed good, so I wanted to try it as I also tried the Canopy in Minneapolis and enjoyed it.

We arrived extremely late at midnight and while the front desk person was nice enough, he was struggling with check-in as he did not do it very often. Even after being handed my keys, I had to ask him what the benefits of Diamond were and what the housekeeping schedule was. I confirmed all the information needed and headed up. Note that they have underground parking, and you can park there initially, and they will give you another paper to use so you can go in and out all you want for $36 a day.

We had a corner room on the 14th floor. I did find it odd that on the elevator, they noted that Honors rooms were on the 16th floor and premium rooms were 17 and higher. I guess they were full on a Thursday night. As we walked in, the room was a nice size and had windows on the two corner walls. I found that they were not automated, so it was a bit of a chore to open and close them manually each night. Initially, the room seemed fairly clean, but if you look behind the couches and furniture, it was not a pleasant sight. The room has a refrigerator and safe that you can use for your own items.

The bathroom was clean as well but needed a refresh. I do not see a whole lot of spa tub and shower combos and feel that this was extremely dated. Also, the design of this is horrible as the edge just leaks water out onto the floor as any water outside the tube has nowhere to go but the floor. The shower head was caked with residue, but the pressure was good as was the hot water.

On the 2nd night, I was woken up by a lot of noise from a party and I thought it was either in the hall or the room next door, but after following the sound of laughter, I found it was coming from an air vent. This was not a little murmur, but you could hear everyone talking loudly and laughing. I had to stuff a towel in the vent to muffle the sounds so I could get back to sleep at midnight.

As a Diamond member, you also receive $30 a day per room for food. We tried the buffet breakfast, but it was not great and they only had one person serving the entire space. She basically dropped off water and was so busy, you would hardly see her. The food was okay, but not worth $19 a person. We spent the rest of the credit on the desserts at night instead and those were good.

I honestly would not stay here again as our experience was not great at all.

Thank you for sharing your recent experience. We appreciate your loyalty to Hilton and it's unfortunate to hear that your stay fell short of your usual expectations. We're disappointed you had such challenges with the sound insulation in our rooms. The satisfaction of our guests is important to us so we'll be sure to discuss your feedback moving forward. We note your feedback about your room's cleanliness and the challenges you faced with the bathroom. Please be assured that our team is consistently striving to improve our facility and service. Your feedback on breakfast serves as a good reminder for us to continually enhance our dining options. It's wonderful to hear that you found some value in our dessert offerings. We hope we'll have another opportunity to offer a more satisfying stay for you and your family in the future. Thank you.
