We spent a romantic weekend up in Nisswa. Smail older cabins with a gas fireplace was perfect for us. The owners were amazing and available for anything we needed. Only 4 cabins open during the time we were there so very quite and relaxing.

The Eagle's Nest offers many things to do for families with young kids. The property has a good sized play ground, volleyball court both on land and in water, basketball court, a Teepee, paddle boards, canoes, pedal boat, terraced sand box area by the lake, good swimming area, daily nature activities and bikes. The resort itself is well kept and... More

Very cute, cozy cabins. Very quiet with no fancy cable or AC, perfect getaway. Nice lake as well. Perfect any time of year. Nisswa within walking distance with great shopping and many great options for dining.

This was a weekend for 3 couples; old friends, we've raised our kids and now we enjoy a resort weekend together at the end of summer. Our cabins were right next to the lake with a nice gas fireplace in our sitting room and a screen porch on each cabin. The water is crystal clear in this lake and the... More

My husband and I spent a long weekend at Eagle's Nest Resort in September for our anniversary. It was a great stay! Our 1BR cabin was small, simple, comfortable, and very, very clean. Even though it was chilly outside and the cabin was not insulated, we turned up the gas fireplace and were cozy all night. The owners were a... More

We reserved a week in September of 2015 for my father who has been going to the neighbor resort (Eagles Nest) since he was a kid. We paid $100.00 deposit. Unfortunately my father (who is elderly) had some health issues in November and told us to cancel the reservation as he is no longer able to lift his arm above... More

Cabins on the lake with one, two, and three bedrooms that are up-to-date, well maintained, and clean. There was six of us on a bike weekend and the two bedroom cabin we stayed in was great. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. The bike trail is right at the end of the driveway and it's a half mile walk... More

Our stay was the end of August and we traveled with our two young kids (1 & 3) and my parents. The weather was a bit cold but the property had so much to offer that we didn't mind - large playground, playhouse, balls, trails, basketball, paddle boat, large docks with clear enough water to see the fish! There is... More

First the positives: the cabin was clean, there is a nice bike trail, some fun unique things for the kids like a giant outdoor chess set, a tee pee, a good playground, basketball, close to town, etc. The negetives: We were supposed to stay Sept 7 and 8th, but the night of the 7th, our family of 4 was so...
