This is a beautiful campground on Lake Superior. We stayed four days in an RV and our site was so heavily wooded we could hardly see our neighbors. We loved it. Walking around the campground, we noticed primitive sites, others with all the hookups, tent...More
We took a camping trip here this past weekend. The last time we were here was almost 10 years and while they have made many improvements, it's still one of the best places to camp along the North Shore. It's nicely located on Lake Superior...More

Yes, they do allow dogs. I actual brought two, black lab and a German wire haired pointer. this is an excellent place. Beautiful beach and great location, you are close to everything. Might I suggest eating at Lockport- in Lutsen - great breakfast or anytime. Grand Marais is also a dog friendly town if you venture up there for a day trip. Also highly suggest hiking the temperance river trail! Sit on the deck and enjoy a beer at the Temperance Liquor store and listen to the locals, with the dog of course- take the dog in the liquor store for a pop or other beverage and get a dog treat! Have fun...I'll be further north of Grand Marais next week and can't wait that area is good for the soul, enjoy
