The location is fantastic right next to the river. The room was large. The shower was small. No countertop to put your toiletries on. The food served at breakfast was wonderful. We sat outside, under the covered porch, and watched the up and down bridge on the river. Very relaxing and romantic stay.

Paid way too much money for this room. Decorating was very inferior, no glasses I'm the room, comforter on bed was lumpy and linens inferior for the price of the room. No ice bucket, coffee pot or nice bath supplies you would expect. Room was warm when we arrived and noisy. Watersreet view was of the delivery truck early the...

My husband and I booked a room at the Water Street Inn because we were in Stillwater for a wedding that was taking place there. We chose this because of the convenience of being right there already and the lack of other options in the area. When we entered our room we were very disappointed. Most notocable at first sight-...

The Water Street Inn has a good reputation and I had always wanted to stay here. My husband does not especially like the personal nature of bed and breakfasts, but I like the charm. I thought this would be a good compromise. The location, view, and size of the rooms is excellent, but the upkeep leaves something to be desired....

So, nothing earth shattering here. There are not a lot of options right in Stillwater to choose from (we don't do B&Bs). Instead of waxing on like others, I will point out a few specifics that I didn't see in the other reviews and possibly some repeated notes. Had room 310 facing the river - the balcony is small but...

I would never stay here again nor host an event here. The rooms weren't historic, they were archaic. The owners should try staying in the rooms to conduct a usability study. Mattress? Ancient and lumpy. Pillows? Awful. Bathroom? totally inconvenient. We hosted a brunch following a wedding and the servers were inept, inattentive and poorly trained. We had to continually...

Entirely different room from what was shown to be 314 Bridgewater Suite on the Internet. Ugly depressing room, two narrow windows with a view of garbage on tables below. Mattress was terrible. Wouldn't get near the hot tub. The whole hotel is rundown with very dirty carpeting everywhere on every floor. Incredibly high priced for a miserable experience. My mistake...

I woke up to something crazy! I swear it was like someone got in my bed with me. I couldn't move, then I found a picture taken on my phone of me sleeping. I stayed there alone with the dead bolt locked. I can't explain it but I also smelled body odor randomly after I woke up at 4 am....

This was the worst bed we had EVER slept in. It was like sleeping on a bale of straw! The duvet cover had huge lumps as big as melons cut in half! The sink was cracked, the shower head was filthy, and the dresser was missing half the handles. Rooms are terribly overpriced, dark, and cheaply decorated! We called their...

I was on a motorcycle trip from KC to Lake Superior and back. I stopped here on my way home. I have been here a number of times although not in the last 3 or 4 years. With the recent low ratings maybe the place had gone down hill. I did not find that to be the case. First off,...
