This day & age good working WiFi is a necessity. To say Gwithian Farms is intermittent would be generous. We stayed for two different weeks in different areas of the site and both equally bad. On the first visit I queried at the shop and was told very disinterestedly prob where you’re parked and that we’re so busy. Not so, the 2nd visit was just as useless so will now need to go elsewhere. They need to sort this issue but don’t seem the slightest concerned. I do wonder if a lot of Cornish hospitality has got a little smug with all these staycations and will wonder why they’re markedly quieter next year as many have gone to Devon instead, as we will!

This is a lovely campsite perfectly situated to walk across the dunes to the beach - perfect for dogs . Pitch sizes were fine and facilities exceptionally clean . Great variety of visiting food outlets from the Hungry Horsebox doing breakfast treats and lovely curry to paella & a fish & chip van . Helpful staff & small shop with limited range . Will definitely return

This site is great for access to the beach and coastal walls with only 5-10 mins from the beach and there tiu can get surfing lessons etc. The local village is small with a pub bit that's about it. If you want to eat in the pub definitely book a table, we didn't on the second visit and went hungry! The nearest supermarket is Lidl about 5 min drive with M&S close-by. The site is pretty goo with plenty of facilities incl WiFi and visiting food services on at east three nights, paella, fish and chips, pizza. There is also a coffee service with coissants and cakes from 10-12 daily. Only issue we had was the issue of dog crap where owners haven't cleaned up after their little darlings which is not acceptable!

Brilliant campsite in amazing location. The pitches are nice and private, great facilities and shop and only 15 minutes walk to the beach. However we were allocated the furthest pitch from the facilities (Toilets, reception, freezers etc etc) and came out to 5.40 minutes walk from our pitch (we timed it!) which in our opinion was too much. Something as simple as a few portaloos towards the end of the site would have made the world of difference. We also had the exit to the beach path adjacent to our pitch, which was normally very handy but you had people using it, talking loudly and banging the gate at 6.30am/ 11pm while you were trying to sleep. Maybe a sign reminding people to be considerate at those times? Wifi was also included in the price, however we couldn't connect to it from our pitch let alone use it. Overall a brilliant campsite for a base to explore south Cornwall and some minor changes would have made it perfect.

Excellent site and facilities all immaculate. The site had considerate landscaping and terracing providing level ground. Lovely, friendly people made life easy. Great location for stunning walks, surfing with a local pub nearby. Could fault it.
