Above Bored Bed and Breakfast is a AAA rated boutique hotel set within a 1927 Federation home in North Perth, just 5 kms north of Perth CBD and 4kms north of the fashionable nightlife in Northbridge and the discount shopping hub of Harbourtown. 3 themed rooms are available. Free WiFi and Parking, Romantic, Child and Pet Friendly, really suits all. PLEASE NOTE: This is a B&B, so tariffs quoted are for one room only and we will discount both rooms if you need more than one room, so the hotel capacity is three rooms, each with their own bathroom, but the auto pricing is set for individual rooms as most people who enquire are couples.

Thank you Sarah We thoroughly enjoyed your hospitality and friendliness under our circumstances as we were tired and ready to settle for the night. The facilities were beautiful and welcoming and what a fabulous ambience.

We have stayed in a lot of bed & breakfasts around the globe. ..sorry to say while this place was nice and convenient, i wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a romantic getaway or a quiet space. I booked the king room on trip advisor, unaware (as its not stated) that

Thank-you for taking the time to write such a detailed review. Pet owners often prefer the Garden room which is in its own stand alone cottage in the back yard if they are seeking no communication with other guests, and we welcome all phone calls to discuss the specific needs of guests before arrival. It has its own remote controlled garage too, while the rooms in the residence have off-street parking. Some guests come to a B&B anticipating friendly conversation, each has their own preferences and we respect all, as B&Bs can be fun if you like company. The rooms in the residence are, like many B&Bs sharing the lounge dining room with other guests. We have three rooms and only the King room which you stayed in has a separate bathroom, for its exclusive use, and with an amazing underwater painted fresco ceiling, just to make the two step walk across the hallway worthwhile. The Master room and Garden room both have en-suites. We accommodate many people with early flights so each room has its own refrigerator with breakfast supplies provided at any hour. They consist of: Harvey Fresh orange juice (the best), endless tea and coffee, meusli, yoghurt, fresh fruits and raw eggs which can be cooked in the microwave in special cookers in 30 seconds, your choice of bread and milk. Tissues are provided in boxes in each room's bathroom, in a frilly white coverlet, perhaps you missed it. Sorry to hear that, and I would certainly have shown you where they were if you had asked me. I have asked housekeeping about the dog treats left behind by another guest, and I assure all that it won't happen again. Many people bring their fur babies here, they are always sweet, like the 3rd child, and we welcome all guests in our rooms, 2 or 4 legged, including your pet, of course. Many guests also come without pets and I thank-you for saying it was clean and tidy, as we clean daily, there is no pet smell and we take pride in the quality of cleanliness provided. Best Wishes and I do hope you will consider the Garden room, which would better suit your requirements, should you decide to stay again, Sarah Rossetti

Beautiful property, everything we needed. My dog had to come to Perth for allergy testing. So great to have a beautiful place to stay. Quiet, close to everything. Just perfect. Owner is very welcoming and helpful.

I ALWAYS try to be positive and am not snobbish, BUT ... My cramped garden room cost $180 for the night. Compared with $135 for a HUGE room at Pension of Perth who cooked a beautifully prepared breakfast ... NO comparison. Above Bored floors were gritty to walk on and their

Thank-you for taking the time to review the Garden room at Above Bored B&B, and for saying I was lovely. Firstly, I apologise for the floor being less than sparkling. On the day you arrived the vacuum cleaner died, so instead of vac and wash the floors, I instructed housekeeping to sweep and wash the floors, and you arrived while I was replacing the vacuum cleaner, but there you go, unfortunate timing. Regarding the value, it is really important for me to note the positives of that room, which is favoured by pet owners as it has the run of the back yard all to itself, and it suits those seeking a detached cottage secluded experience, as this en-suited room is designed to be self-contained with a 2 night min, and with its own kitchenette and dishwasher, with breakfast provisions provided including: Harvey Fresh orange juice, simply the best, muesli, fruit, yoghurt, the bread of your choice, 3 conserves, and eggs that you can cook in the microwave in 30 seconds in the special cookers provided with instructions. This room is 25sq m, as opposed to the other rooms in the house which are comparatively huge at 50 sqm, and those rooms, each with their own bathroom, also share the lounge dining room in the house with no other guests or the owner, making both into spacious suites, but they do not have their own dishwasher like the Garden room, and they have off-street parking. The Garden room is smaller, but it has its own remote controlled garage, something so rare today that it makes it unique, and so it often suits people with prestige cars, who would like them garaged. We have guests who insist on the Garden room, but we do offer more spacious rooms for those who choose them, and all rooms receive Free WiFi, and pets are welcome here, and can sleep in any room, and, as we clean daily, there is no pet smell. We do hope you will come and try our other more spacious rooms, and if you do, be sure to mention your Garden room experience, and I will discount either of the larger rooms for you, as it is important to me that all guests are happy with their stays here. Best Wishes, Sarah Rossetti - Proprietor
