This is a live working ranch with Bulls, Steer, Chickens, Roosters and more. The experience is rustic but not "roughing it". The 50+ acre spring-fed lake is scenic and clean enough to swim in. Though the accomadations are rustic, they are comfortable: the owner is a big city gal who has gone country but she hasn't forgotten about creature comforts....

For a rustic atmosphere with a great host you cannot beat the Silver Ash. I have stayed there twice with a large group and found it to be an excellent choice. We initially picked the ranch since we had scheduled an academic conference for an Ole Miss game weekend and there were no other accommodations available. The Ranch is about...

Went there for rest, relaxation and music fest. but too hot, no properly working ac, lots of bugs in rooms, spider webs, etc., grounds weren't cared for and dirty accomodations and really overpriced. Owner tried to force us to recycle all our garbage, which I do agree with recycling but when I'm paying $150 per night, I don't need a...

Stayed a couple days at the Silver Ash Ranch in May 2010. Hilary was a great host. I stayed in the trailer and my friend stayed in one of the converted stables. It was a nice change from the hotels I typically stay in. Would recommend the Silver Ash to anyone who wants a camping/ bed and breakfast off the...

It was my first time in Mississippi ever. Staying at the Silver Ash Ranch was the best way to fully enjoy and immerse myself into a different America (I live in NYC). The property is gorgeous, the spring fed lake with a little island in it is a precious gem that you will certainly enojy in the hot months. I...

We heard about the North Mississippi Blues Festival way up here in Ontario Canada from a musician friend who had spent some time in Mississippi learning guitar technique from the locals. Since we enjoy adventures, Blues music, and roadtrips we decided to drive down with another married couple. I pre-booked the trailer in February for three nights to coincide with...

I came down to Potts Camp from Memphis for the Hill Country Blues Picnic (Which was AMAZING!!!!) and to relax with my friends. We stayed at Silver Ash Ranch for a long weekend. The owner is a really cool painter from NYC and the people around here are really friendly and interesting. We especially loved hanging out in the lake...

Our family had a horrible experience here. We paid $100 per night for no A/C, mouse droppings, spiders and bugs everywhere, including our bed. The restaurant that the owner recommended was a truck stop with slow service and awful food. The bed were lumpy, stale smelling sheets, pillows, rooms. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.
