Stopped in for a quick overnight stay to get out of bad weather. The room we occupied was 206...the furniture in this room was not tattered or worn, but it is on the back side near the highway. No highway noise as the roads were...More
I chose the studio suite since I was alone and staying only one night. I like to stay at Candlewood Suites because their rooms have a recliner. Even though the room was clean and quiet and had a working recliner, the fake leather on the...More

We appreciate your recent stay. We have replaced many of the chairs in the rooms and continue to do so. It was great to hear the staff met you expectations during your stay.
Kitchen is decently stocked with basics. The nicest thing is you can check out free extras for the kitchen (steak knives, blender, bottle openers, toaster ovens, etc!)
Hotel personnel are wildly varied between helpful and disinterested.
Free washers and dryers. Enough machines that I've never...More

I am in Cape Girardeau, MO, a few times a year. The Candlewood Suites Hotel was the only hotel with rooms available for our most recent visit. I paid about double what I normally pay in town, and had (somewhat) higher expectations. Upon arrival for...More

Thanks for choosing Candlewood Suites and leaving feedback. Check-in should've made an impression and I'm sorry our Reception team missed the mark to make it seamless on this occasion. I recognize too that you're upset about the state of the furniture and this,...More

I booked my room online, and the total was $167.33. I had a king sized bed, kitchenette, a couple of nice flat screens, and a nice work area. The bathroom had a tub/shower, but can't recall if it was a Jacuzzi. I didn't check in until 1:20 AM, as I was in Cape Girardeau on business that week and had to stay an extra day. The Hampton Inn I had been staying at was full, as was the Holiday Inn Express, so I wound up here. Very nice hotel, and the bedroom was dark and quiet. It isn't within walking distance of anything, which probably is a good thing if you want a good night's sleep, but still handy just off the interstate. There's no continental breakfast, but I would consider staying here again the next time I am in town.
