We rented a couple cabins for my son's graduation from Ft. Leonard Wood. It was perfect.... close enough to base so we could get him back on time, but far enough off the beaten path that we could all "do our own thing". Sue & hubby were great hosts and very accommodating. The place is situated on a lake and...

My wife and I planned our (June 2015) 5000 km/11 day road trip through the American Midwest around a 3 day stay at Blue Jay Farm, and we were not disappointed. We had originally only booked two days, but we loved the relaxed atmosphere and beautiful scenery so much that we cut a night at Mount Rushmore to stay an...

We spent a week here for my oldest son's basic training graduation. We had both the Rock House and the Kitchen Cabin. Had a fantastic time! So laid back. Very rustic without being primitive. The water was great (I really got into the kayaking). Susie and her "helpers" were fantastic! The farm is close to Fort Leonard Wood for graduations...

We had the wonderful luck to be asked to Blue Jay Farm for a wedding. This property is a gem!! It has been a fishing camp since the 30's. It is tucked quietly in the foot hills of the Ozarks between Jerome and Dixon, Missouri. Sue, the owner is fantastic!! She has so much knowledge about the property; the plants...

We really liked it. It is very quiet and private. It was also easy to get to once off the highway. The road leading to Blue Jay is a motorcyclists dream. Very curvy and hilly. Beautiful area. Susie the owner was sooo nice!

Blue Jay Farm is a great place for a short little vacation, especially if you want to take your four-legged best friend along with you. We stayed in First Cabin, and it is small but has everything you need. There are two barbeque pits - a gas and a charcoal one, a nice little kitchen, one small bedroom, but there...

Blue Jay Farm is a lovely property with amazing landscapes in the foothills of the Ozarks near Rolla, Mo. My dogs loved swimming in the lakes and it's nice to be able to take a vacation with your dogs. There is nothing in the whole world that can make you feel more refreshed and revived then a heavy dose of...

We visited in September of 2010 and had the place to ourselves. The water was too cold to swim but our dog loved it. Very Dog Friendly We returned in July 2011 and were able to swim in the spring lake. Our dog loved it! We had the 'First Cabin' both times. Nice balcony but lots of wasps. They have...
