We had the great delight to stay overnight in La Bousquetiere in October, while touring the area with French friends who already knew the house and its charming hosts Marielle and Benoit. You will love staying here, for one night or much more. Three beautiful rooms upstairs and a complete self-contained holiday let on the ground floor. Furnishings are lovely...

We stayed with Marielle and Ben for two blissful days. Had we known just how wonderful their home was then we would have booked for longer. The mountain views are breathtaking. The decor, the location, the total comfort was just superb and this was all before we enjoyed the food from Marielle's kitchen. Gorgeous home cooked including the breakfast jams....

It is evident that Marielle and Benoit have put much time, energy and love into building a environment at La Bousquetiere that is charming, lovely, inviting and authentic. We are so happy with our choice to stay with them as it only elevated our already wonderful experience of the beautiful Ubaye Valley and the wider French alps. Two nights was...

This wonderful guest / bnb run by hosts Marielle and Benoit was a real find. The chambre d'hote rooms were booked by several very tall cyclists, so we were offered the gite on the lower main level. It was a lovely small apartment with a huge bedroom, very peaceful and flowery patio. But it was the hospitality and amazing meals...

We spent a lovely weekend at La Bousquetiere. We immediately felt like we were at home. The food was amazing and everything cooked with local and fresh products. If one needs one good reason to spend some time there it would be to try Mariel's several dozens of home made jams that are probably the best we've ever eaten.

What a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. The personal touch that Marielle and Benoit offer is second to none and they did everything they could to make our stay fantastic, which it was! Marielle's culinary expertise (not to mention Benoit's barbecuing) provided delicious breakfasts and dinners all week, delivered in their homely kitchen or outside surrounded by the spectacular...

We spent four nights and loved our stay. The English speaking hosts are very friendly and helpful yet fully respect the client's need for privacy. The bedroom are spacy and tastefully decorated and spotless. The house and the 'neighbourhood' are very charming and truly authentic. Great praise goes to the local products that are served for breakfast and dinner. Marielle...

Lovely place with great hospitality! We spent 12 days there and felt like at home. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfy. There is a sauna and jacuzzi that we enjoyed a couple of times. The dinners were just delicious! Also there is a lot of things to do in the area. This was our best experience in this...
