The owner is quite a character, possibly appearing grumpy at times (due to the percentage he has to give over to the booking company), but he's a pussy cat really. Given that, he charges a hefty 15Euros for breakfast, but it is very complete and he will knock up scrambled eggs and bacon for you if you fancy. The hotel... More

This is not an hotel. It is a B&B and an expensive one. Good position near to the lovely town, a 5/8 minute walk uphill to the town and restaurants. Nice old building with large rooms and a comfortable bed. The bathrooms are dated and the shower floor in ours was very slippy and the shower rail on the wall... More

Set just below the centre of the town, this charming, slightly eccentric hotel is a great place to stay near the edge of the Gorges du Verdun. The hotel is very well, if simply, appointed (has A/C< however) and very clean - modern plumbing!. The host is a very friendly and helpful character - his assurance that it is only... More

Beautifull house with romantic garden. Rooms are simple and provencal style. Bathroom - clean and nice. downstairs lots of place to sit down, watch tv or read a book. Short distance to the centre of the town but the way is up the hill. There is a place for the car, no problem.

We were a family of three and stayed here for one night. The location was easy to find and suited our needs just fine. We stayed up on the third floor so there were some steep stairs to climb with luggage, but the room was air conditioned and attractively appointed. The owner was very kind and helpful. We asked about... More

We had a wonderful stay at the Bastide! We arrived very late on a Sunday night during our trip. We had made a stop in St Maximin during the day that took us longer then we had expected. The drive from St Maximim to Moustiers takes one along a two lane mountain route. The road is well maintained, but slow.... More

It's a steep climb to get to the town, but this charming place has good parking and a lovely proprietor. Jean Louis is very friendly and informative. You must have the breakfast, it's fantastic. Our room was large and bright. I wish the hotel had a "normal" shower instead of an attachment to the wall, but all and all it... More

Very clean and quaint hotel. Rather basic for supposed 3 star hotel but rooms are comfortable and the owner is friendly. Fairly well located for the village if you don't mind a bit of a walk uphill. TV and wifi services, whilst free, were erratic. Would have rated this a little higher but being charged €6 for a cup of... More

This hotel was just absolutely charming! The exterior is beautiful and really well maintained. Our room was large, airy and very clean. The owner was just delightful and extremely helpful. Breakfast was superb! I cannot say enough good things about this hotel - it was just lovely!
