One feels right at home here with the antique closet, the pile of books night-tables, the room is welcoming like a good friend's house. The only thing missing is a table, especially for writers ! The bathroom is basic and decoration was abandoned here. The real problem is the smell of mildew from the pillows. Breakfast is ready and decent.

This is a genuinely felt review. We were recommended this place by Swiss friends. Gerard who greeted us was consistently helpful and friendly. The room was pure cooled with air con. The hotel has been a twenty year project of the owner who is very talented. Quaint, beautiful. The views out of our room to the castle were a bonus.... More

Trip Advisor lead us to Hotel Sevigne and we did not regret it. Geraldine welcomed us as she would family friends. The building, which is attached to the outer walls of the fortress/chateau, has been rebuilt by her family with loving care. The room was large, the linen wonderful, the whole experience was superb. I would recommend this place to everyone.

This was the second time within a year that we spent a week in the Hotel Sévigné. That should be proof enough that we really, really liked it there. And we also came back to the same room (#1) which we liked not only for it's interesting rural design (there's a fat & fertile hen supervising your activities in the... More

We spent two nights here and as retired hoteliers were most impressed with this hotel. Charming staff and well thought out comfortable rooms individually designed. It was very hot but the air conditioning worked well and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A large car par is opposite and it is a quick walk to the town, shops, restaurants and Chateau.... More

From the friendly greeting at check in all was fantastic. Lovely clean rooms with individual decor all of which appear to have been recently modernised. A peaceful family run hotel which provides excellent assistance, advice and an adequate breakfast. The hotel is in the lovely village of Grignan, including the chateau is easily accessible on foot.

We stayed here in room no. 8 for one night, and enjoyed it. The room was very cosy and quiet. The bathroom was small but well functioning. The hotel has a little wonderful garden at there is free parking just across the street. The little service we needed was excellent, and there is wifi.

Super hotel in Grignan. There were not a lot of choices and this was a little over our budget but it was a very nice stay. The location was perfect for all the town. It was not noisy at all and there was free parking across the street. The room had all the amenities. A bath tub would have been... More

If you're visiting Grignan, this hotel will allow you to experience everything in Grignan by foot. It's a small town, so the hotel is within walking distance of all important locations, and it's near the bottom of the hill, so if you've had dinner with some wine, it's just a downhill stroll back home. I cannot stress this point enough:... More
