          It doesn't look like the cabanas have doors on them. I'm a woman who would be traveling there alone and not sharing a room. Will I be safe?

          It's amazing how safe you feel when your their. The doors are sliding doors, no locks. There where many women who had traveled alone that where in our group that felt safe, along with their individual travels into town... More

          Can anybody tell me if the water for the showers are ocean water or fresh water?

          Showers are fresh water, just not necessarily drinking water. The sinks are also fresh water. They provide fresh drinking water in the rooms as well. The rooms are great.
