Great location, great accomodations, great value, such nice owner/managers, this place is quiet and private in a nice neighborhood where you feel like you are living locally. There are also surfboards, umbrellas, beach chairs, towels, etc to use free. Plus the owners will answer any questions and give tips on where to go, what to do, where to eat.

My husband and I stayed in the Terrace bungalow and loved it. It's a 1 bedroom apt. in Sayulita with all the amenities and little touches that you need. We only cooked breakfast twice while there and found the kitchen well stocked. Grocery stores are nearby as are wine shops. The housekeeper kept everything clean and organized and our hosts...

Our second stay at Macondo for our family. Melanie and Charlie are always welcoming and helpful, but never in the way. The rooms are clean and fresh and very well kept. I like that it's a few minute walk to the center of town, but away from the noise and discos etc. Twice, we've gotten the Sunrise and Courtyard rooms,...

Stayed in the Courtyard room on the second floor for 10 days. The room was very quiet at night even with the windows open. The quiet end of the beach is about a 5 minute walk. Downtown Sayulita is less than 10 minutes away. Charlie and Melanie have towels, chairs and umbrellas for your beach use - a nice touch....

We stayed here for 9 days in January 2016. The Macondo worked out well for an extended family vacation of 9 adults, using 4 suites. My husband and I stayed in the Sunrise for 2 nights before moving into the Courtyard suite. The Sunrise was very small but with a small price. It has a small frig and microwave. It...

We stayed in the Terrace Suite for 6 nights and the Toscana Bungalow for one night. Melanie was a fantastic host, so helpful and flexible and easygoing. The suites are conveniently located close to town and the ballpark. They are clean, well-equipped, spacious and very cool in the north end of town. Both suites had full kitchens, which we really...

“Our family of four stayed in the Courtyard and Sunrise rooms, all to themselves on the second floor. We had an outdoor kitchen, a patio table and a terrace for sitting. It was private without being isolated. If you're a group of 4-6, you might enjoy having both rooms. Courtyard has a bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed.”
